Le Bao was a wonderful dining experience. Brace yourself for the mouthwatering veggie curry bao, a delicious concoction of curry-infused vegetables encased in a soft, pillowy wrap. It’s like biting into a vegetable samosa masterpiece! The Kim Chee is a fiery sensation, with the perfect balance of heat without overwhelming saltiness or excessive sourness. Trust me, finding good Kim Chee is no easy feat, but Le Bao nailed it. Don’t miss the tantalizing tofu steak bun and delectable vegetable gyozas, each bite packed with delightful flavors. Located just a block away from Columbia University, this rare spot is a must-visit.

I was visiting Columbia today and had a craving for Korean food. I was lucky that Le Bao was on my way to I-70. I can’t say how good the food was here. I had to wait a while for the food, but I anticipated the wait since they had a well-placed sign stating there would be a wait. It meant, however, that my food was as fresh as possible and the wait staff (Justin) was very cordial and helpful. I would recommend this place for anyone needing a Bao fix. The dough is amazing! I’m coming back here when I’m in Columbia, no question.

I paid and waited over an hour for two Philly steak steam buns and nachos. I even came back 45 minutes like they told me and when I came back that’s when they started making my order and I still had to wait. I Will not be coming back anytime soon . And this the pull pork nachos I received . Next time y’all want to serve somebody this serve it to your mother first .

I love going to Le Bao for comfort food. The steamed buns are so amazing! I like the ramen as well. They have vegan options which makes this a household favorite for my family. Sometimes the food can be arranged in a sloppy way, but other than that I have always eaten everything I ordered and enjoyed it. The restaurant can get busy which increases wait times but that’s okay with me for good food. I try to keep up to date with their hours on social media, but recently they were closed for July 4th and didn’t post anywhere that information (including the front door). I really love that it’s right next to ACOLA and you can work there and then go over to Le Bao when you get hungry.

I came here with some coworkers and I was very excited to eat some Asian food. I ordered the seafood ramen but was a bit disappointed in the quantity of the protein. It came with 2 fried shrimps and 2 small fish cakes. One of the fried shrimps was in the soup and it was soggy but the other one was above the noodles so it was still crispy. I loved the crispiness of the shrimp. I wish there was at least an extra shrimp and an extra fish cake with this seafood ramen for $12. The quality of the food was really good. It looked great and taste great. The lemon grass chicken bun was good too but it was a little small so you would probably need two of those. They should have a 2 for $6 deal or something. Also, food took awhile to make and get to our table so if you aren’t in a rush then this is the place to come eat at. Otherwise, you’ll be waiting at least 20+ minutes depending on if they have any active orders.

They have a few vegan options (a Ramen broth but no vegan Ramen noodles, so they give you rice vermicelli noodles in what tasted like Mushroom Broth). Their Kimchi is apparently vegan, but they don’t offer Kimchi Ramen for some reason, which would take this restaurant to the next level (you can order the ramen and the kimchi and put them together). They have one vegan bao, NO vegan buns, and veggie Gyoza that can be steamed instead of fried upon request. All in all, as a diehard vegan ramen lover, I am grateful for the vegan options in what can otherwise feel like a vegan desert or sorts.

You cannot go wrong with Jina’s food! Excellent bun and the tofu ramen was dynamite! Very cool eatery. Extremely helpful staff out front. Kudos to the guy and gal that helped this first timer. I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve eaten at Le Bao several times and every time has been a wonderful food experience. The ramen is huge, the Bao dough is so good. The fillings are well seasoned. The staff are fun and the building is beautiful.

Ramen was mediocre, but everything else was fire!! The wonton tacos, bulgogi bao, and steamed buns were off the charts!! Get your raman at Ocha, get your bao here!
