The milkshakes were thick and creamy. My husband’s strawberry shame had bits of fresh strawberry in it. The roast beef sandwich was generously loaded with tender, flavorful beef and topped with peppers and sliced dill pickles (interesting, but delicious). The chili-cheese dog was also made with premium quality meat and toppings. The lady who took our order got everything correct and all with a big smile and great attitude. I’m as full as a tick on a wet dog and satisfied.

I haven’t been there in a while, so I was very happy and surprised. Surprised that the prices had gone up and that the fries weren’t a part of the meal like I remember it, but the food was good. COVID 19 has really messed up all the fast food restaurants. I’m so sorry to say I’ll have to always make sure that I have enough money when going to Zel’s Roast Beef. It’s almost like putting gas in your car.

I paid to get cheese on my Italian beef sandwiches and most of the cheese ended up on the bag because the sandwiches wasn’t placed in the bag correctly. They use to put the sandwiches in separate containers. The sandwiches and fries were ok. Definitely not worth the price!! The customer service could have been better. No thank you was given after you paid for your order and/or when your order was given to you. I wasn’t impressed!!

Let me say first I got a chicken sandwich from there which was pretty good. Sadly tho’ not very friendly. Zels for years included fries with every sandwich but not any longer. You have to pay for fries if you want them. My daughter ordered the meal which I thought fries would be included. I didn’t get them. The Harbor location was by far the best location and woman at front counter has been there for years. Maybe she could’ve been tired. That chicken sandwich was pretty good! But service could be better!!!
