Just moved into the area, and this place is a 15min walk. I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews. However, the food was good and simple. I did a build your own-cheddar biscuit w/ chicken, honey, and cheese. This is a good quick option. I also ordered the cinnamon roll. It was simple not overly sweet. 4 stars because everything is average, not over the top. Liked it but didn’t love it! Take out only.

I came in on a Tuesday. All I wanted was chicken and biscuits. The person at the register told be that my only option was a chicken box. I didn’t really want a side, but it came with it any way. The chicken was hot and fresh, but it was over cooked. The biscuit was cold/room temperature. I was actually surprised when I watched the girl grab the biscuits because I knew they had been just sitting out for a while and not under a warmer. They offer butter packets, as there is no butter flavor to the biscuits. The cheese grits were bland.

I can’t say enough about our visit today, Phyllis, David and the team are running things right. Everything was hot and delicious and they made us feel so welcome. Everything came out fast and fresh and everything was running like a well oiled machine. Thank you for making us feel like family! You guys are amazing! Well worth the drive from Rosslyn. Can’t wait to visit again.

So, I purposely waited to review because I was here during their opening week and wanted to see if it was all hype…..not. Great friendly and welcoming service, food is not only delicious and flavorful, but I grabbed some condiments on the way out only to find I didn’t truly need them. Fried green tomatoes are special for me and it’s difficult to get them to that nostalgic flavor for me…. They made me think of my mom with these!! Definitely worth stopping by.

Overall I enjoyed the food. The biscuits do not have a butter flavor so if that is what you’re looking for, get a few butter packets before you head out. The pickup is smooth, I ordered online and picked up the bag in a box they have for togo items.
