My husband and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary here and I was blown away! Fire & Salt feels like a truly special place and I wish them lots of success! My husband and I ordered a couple appetizers, main courses, desserts, and mocktails to share. Each item we ordered was incredible, there wasn’t a single thing I wouldn’t order again. The quality and presentation of the food was outstanding. The staff was also very knowledgeable and kind and did their best to make our visit excellent. The atmosphere was fancy enough to feel like you were having a treat by being there, but it was still low key enough to feel very comfortable. It was a nice setting for a night out without feeling stressed. If you want to treat yourself or your loved ones for a very special night out, please give Fire & Salt a try!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here last week, and it was everything we hoped for and more! It was truly a wonderful meal and delightful experience. We thought the portion size for the entrees were perfect. We opted to add a side because we wanted to try them, but the portion size would have been fine without them. I had the garden bowl, and every flavor and texture worked so well together- especially the shaved fried carrots. My husband had the honey bourbon pork porterhouse, and he thought it was packed full of flavor. Our sides (braised leaks and baked potato) were equally delicious. I didn’t get a picture, but our sweet server even included a candle in the dessert we ordered to honor the occasion!

Place was fabulous. Got the Fritters and Pork Belly for appitizers absolutely amazing. Rabbit Stew great flavor the rabbit melts in your mouth so tender. Pork porterhouse was paired with a light glaze with just a touch of sweetness. Burger was exactly what you’d want not complicated just a basic cheeseburger with great flavor the onions were so good but not overpowering. Went back the next day and tried all their desserts, fabulous!!!!

I had lunch at Fire & Salt last week, for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious. I had the Grain Bowl with BBQ Tofu and my friend had Grammie’s Pizza. We shared a Chocolate Pot de Creme. I give it all an A+. It feels good, too, to support a local business!

Went here for a date night and was super impressed. True, it’s a bit pricey, but if you’re looking to treat yourself to a delicious, gourmet food experience, this is the place to go! The food and drinks were amazing. The sweet potato gnocchi and rabbit in particular was delicious, as well as the pork belly appetizer. I’m also not usually much of a mousse person personally, but their dark chocolate mousse was definitely something I would get again. This is an impressive restaurant and is a great addition to the town of Oak Ridge.

In town visiting family and we decided to come here on a rare away from kids date night. Service was prompt and thorough. We shared the Charcuterie board for starter and it was fantastic and filling, the bacon jam is delicious. My wife had the Pasta with a shrimp skewer and I was a bit more adventurous then I typically am and decided to try something abnormal for my pallet, Lamb chops. The first bite I knew I was in for a treat. It melted in my mouth. I am a stickler for well seasoned food and it is rare that I don’t feel the need to season something myself with some salt and pepper. This was cooked to perfection and I didn’t feel the need to add anything. Truly fantastic, my wife agreed as well. One of the best meals we’ve had.

The food was delicious and the service was great. We celebrated our anniversary here and had a great time. The food is definitely more expensive than most of the local area restaurants but if you have the time (1.5 – 2 hours for dinner) and money, you will enjoy it.

Great food and service! Made a reservation for a birthday dinner. We were sat on time, and our server was super helpful with answering questions and making suggestions. She came back to our table often to check on us and clear dishes. Appetizers were tasty and enough to hold us over until dinner. Our kids tried rabbit for the first time and loved it. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Desserts were perfect size and delicious. Want to return to try their other dishes.

I had the pork belly, winter salad, filet, a baked potato and chocolate mousse. Everything was very good with the exception of the a la carte baked potato ($8). It was old, cold and kinda gross. Not the end of the world and normally I wouldn’t care but it wasn’t a cheap meal ($ 179 + 30 tip) so you would think they would want to ensure everything is fresh. Aside from that it was good and the waitress was very friendly and attentive.

I has lunch here this past weekend. Small venue with a limited menu. My wife and I share the charcuterie board for an appetizer and both had shrimp and grits and finished with strawberry shortcake. Fantastic meal! Lovely service too! I enjoyed this enough to make reservation for Mother’s Day.
