I have been waiting to visit this restaurant for a while. We went to the one downtown St Louis so we could be close to an event we would be attending later. The restaurant is small but it’s very comfortable and has a bar that you can sit at. The waitress seated us, and we ordered drinks and an appetizer. The chicken wings were very good and juicy, and they had a crunch to them. The drink I ordered, a lemon drop, was okay, I have had much better, but that’s not everyone’s fortay. I didn’t even finish it. My girlfriend ordered several drinks and was not impressed with hers either. I ordered the lamb cops which came with some mixed vegetables and potatoes. They had dipped the lamb cops in a sweet sauce, something like teriyaki sauce, that I wish they had left off or asked me did I want the sauce on the side. The lamb chops were really thin, but they were cooked well. My girlfriend ordered the stuffed salmon, which she said they overcooked. All in all it was a good meal. I will be trying the one located on Delmar next to see what’s cooking there.

Yes go! My wife and I went here for dinner and I can not recommend this place enough. We got the crab cake, lobster fried, and lime rub chicken wings. First off the lobster fried were cooked to perfection, the lobster was so tender and delicious. The crab cakes and chicken wings were equally amazing but those lobster fries just took it. The staff was incredible, helping us pick out drinks and being generally talkative. We really enjoyed our time there the music was on point and it just couldn’t have been better. We will be back.

Excellent service, great food, and a sexy, upscale atmosphere that will make any food lover bring all their sneaky links for a quick and quiet meal like they were the main meal on the menu (iykyk ).

Ok but will probably not return. I’ll start with the good. Lobster fries were good. Lamb chops were small lollipop ones but were tasty. Ceaser salad was decent. Crab cakes were small and didn’t taste like crab at all. Burger was dry according to my husband and wings dry according to my aunt. Servers were nice and tried to accommodate us but the food was slow in coming out.

The wait staff were awesome however, there just isn’t enough space in this restaurant and it looks as if there was only one restroom. There was a continuous flow of traffic and lots of complaints. I did find that the servers were irritated by the line that wrapped through the restaurant from the bathroom line. Also the food is overpriced for the dinner sizes.

I wanted to like this place so bad! Especially knowing it is a black owned business but I feel it tries to be fine dining but just misses the mark. The food was okay at best. In comparison to the prices the quality and selection was just not it. I don’t mind paying whatever the price is for the food as long as the quality is there and I was disappointed. I have to say I’ve wanted to come here since hearing about it but just never got around to it. I feel this place is highly overrated and it gives the impression of fine dining when it’s really more of a Texas Roadhouse/ Shoguns type deal. Don’t get me wrong it is in a VERY nice space but the execution of the establishment just doesn’t add up. I will say the wait staff are WONDERFUL and the restaurant is overall very clean. Sad to say it’s a one and done for me.

Very nice chill spot for happy hour. Our party started happy hour at the bar then moved to a table for dinner. I had crab cakes (which were the size of a hush puppy) and roasted brussels sprouts. Good taste but crab cakes were small, I would have called them crab cake bites. Sorry forgot to take pics.

Seen the reviews before I came which kinda lowered my expectations but it was good fr, I liked the presentation the person I came withs plate looked fire my steak was okay, I wish they had more cut options than just the one . Overall my favorite part was the carmel crunch cake for dessert that was sum heat . I got it to go but it barely made it home after I tried it at the table. The lighting was terrible tho way too overexposed kinda killed the vibe shining right in my eyes while I’m tryna eat.

We found this place just through a Google search. We just needed to eat a good meal and quickly…it had been a long day. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere were all amazing. The salmon was cooked to just the right temperature and the glaze on the lamb chops was delicious. I can’t wait to make this a regular place for us to eat.
