Gigi’s Southern Table is located just a few minutes from downtown State College. It was very easy to find, and had lots of parking. Inside, the decor and ambiance was very unique: Southern charm meets country feel design. Plenty of place to sit, and private spaces as well. The food options included gluten free and vegan, noted on the menu. The food was good, and there were a variety of different options (breakfast type foods or lunch/dinner menus, which could be served anytime of the day). The cost was in the higher range in price for food compared to some other restaurants in the area. The servers were kind. One draw back we experienced was that we didn’t see our server much, so by the time we got our food it was lukewarm, and another server brought it to us instead. All in all, it was a nice place to try. Will try again.

We had gone to state college and want to eat somewhere different. Finding GiGi’s on the Open table app we decided to give it a shot. First when you walk in the restaurant’s decor looks amazing the hostess was polite and the waitress was informative and friendly. Never eating there before the waitress gave some suggestions to which entries she liked and Oh My was she right. The dinner was spectacular, we found our new favorite place to eat in State college.

We had a party of 20 for a post-graduation celebration in a private room at Gigi’s on August 12, 2023. The food, service, and ambiance were great! Our server Rylie was very attentive, and the manager checked on us multiple times. The chef even spent time talking to some true Southerners in our group to get feedback on the food. There was ample parking, and people with mobility issues were able to enter and exit without difficulty. We will definitely go back again and highly recommend Gigi’s!
