Photos of the bolognese and shrimp/scallops pasta, both of which could have used more sausage and shrimp. The band was a bit loud, causing a ripple effect with loud table talk.

I have eaten at Finezza many times over the years, and I would love to say that this is one of the best Italian restaurants around. I have been reading through the reviews and was wondering when so many people have turned into “Karen”? If you Karen’s have a problem with the food then I suggest that you learn to cook authentic Italian food. If you can read then learn to do it yourself. Stop complaining that you didn’t get what you wanted, get up and learn to do something in your self-centered privileged lives and quit complaining and trying to destroy someone else’s life.

I went when they were very busy and had to wait about 15 minute for service, but the food was excellent. — So. I returned today, 7/19/18, after reading reviews about the place changing hands and not being the same, and unfortunately, I have to agree. Birthday dinner for one of our party of 4. All 4 proteins were extremely over-cooked. One person sent their dish back, but the rest of us are all former service workers that don’t like to complain. Everything had the sheen of broken butter. The service was excellent (except for the olives but everyone forgets sometimes) and the music was very enjoyable. Seriously though, the food was atrocious. Very different from the last time in February.

Finezza Italian Bistro is catered to a very specific crowd, but I loved it. They have a limited menu with delicious food, served in a pretty intimate setting with live music (jazz when I was there). The times I’ve dined here, I expected to be there 1.5-2 hours, in order to chat with our server, order our meal, drinks, and enjoys the company of my partner. This place is just as much about the time of being there rather than rushing through a meal, and I can appreciate it. If you don’t arrive starving, you will likely have a delightful experience! Oh, and their bruschetta is a bomb appetizer.

We went to Finezza to have a date. I must admit the wait can be a little long, but we stayed because the place looked great. When we were seated customer service was a premium. We were given complimentary bread with four different dips to mix and match to our pleasure. Our waiter Brian was very nice and was always refilling our drinks. We enjoyed our food so much, that by the time our meals came by, we couldn’t even eat half of it. We were able to take them home, and the seconds were just as amazing as the meal itself. Lastly was dessert. They served us a creme cheese cake that was around four inches tall drizzled with chocolate. Best food ever.

Met here for dinner with friends. I let my server know I have food allergies from the beginning. I was working with him closely, many questions back and forth with the chef, deciding the safe choices on the menu for me. When my food came out with the rest of the food for our table, my plate was beautiful! It looked delicious! Immediately however, it was obvious my food contained cheese and a lot of it. My main allergy is to dairy. I pointed it out to the server. After an extensive wait of more than 25 minutes, with nothing more than a repeated assurance the food would be right out… he brought a joke of the dish I had been originally told was safe to eat. The beautiful piece of salmon topped with that gorgeous sauce was replaced with a few scattered bits if salmon. Absolutely no sauce, no spice, no salt even. It was a poor rendition of slop line food. I was shocked and terribly displeased. I only wished I had a before and after picture. The difference between what I ordered and what I got was appalling.

Food was AWESOME. Service was AWESOME… but when I was leaving, a woman came in with two dogs on a leash. They were not service animals. I prefer to eat where there are no animals. Not everyone likes animals, and dogs can sense this. Doubtful that I will eat here again. As well as many of my friends when I tell them. I just don’t understand why this is allowed…

I have been going to Finezze’s for many years. My family and I have been going there through several owners with the beginning being Mark Rubin, then David and then Karen. It was always good and the staff was great! The last three times with the newest owner the food has been less than average and the service was terrible. We waited for 30 minutes just to get our drinks and 45 minutes to finally get our food. The waiter was rude I guess due to him being stressed out? Then to top it off I paid with $200.00 cash and the waiter shorted me $10.00 in the change. I am so sorry to give any business a bad review but I gave her 3 chances! Unless the new owner changes a lot of things she will be closing a locate favorite which is place the us locals loved to come.

Great food and service!! Staff was very friendly with our 16 mo old which was a huge deal as it can be hard sometimes enjoying a nice meal out with a little one. Even the kitchen line staff was cool enough to put on a little fire show for our son which he absolutely loved! Probably not the first place you would think of to go with a kiddo but they made us feel comfortable and welcome!. Thanks guys!

This is the review of his wife who had quite a disappointing experience. 3 out of 4 of us agreed on the slow service, the poor service when we got it and most upsetting, the food. The meatball texture was that of canned dog food and tasted as if it really could be.Seriously. No spices i.e. sprinkles of oregano, parsley, etc were seen nor tasted. Very bland pasta. Eggplant cooked to a crisp and so dry and tough it had to be cut with the knife. The bread was the only thing I can say was delicious. Thank goodness the birthday guest enjoyed her meal despite no special attention from the waitress was given to her. Not even a small cannoli.
