The story of Le Parfait started in 2014 with the opening of a family run Patisserie & Boulangerie in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp quarter. First time here, their pastries look cute, the taste was 4/5 for me. And I find them very pricy for the size. I am not sure if they are great quality and that’s why the price is high. Maybe I should return and try some other flavors. I just got this one. Sadly I got it in a plate instead of a cute box. It was close to closing time so maybe they were out of boxes.

The macrons themselves after we had to remove the server’s hair from one was 5/5 and the variety is great, although very expensive which is to be expected for this area. We had to wait a long time in the small storefront in line because the workers moved at the pace of snails and people kept cutting us in line directly from the door.

Great location, coffee is fine, pastries could be better. Prices are relatively high (as pretty much in any other place in Coronado). Outside seating area is really nice.

We spent the day at Coronado this weekend and we highly recommend getting a coffee and a pastry at this cute place Le Parfait Paris. They were very welcoming and friendly, the machiatto coffee was excellent and the croissant aux amandes delicious I want to come back already and to try something new !

We ordered chocolate croissant, Mumbai chai and hot chocolate. The croissant was exceptional. They had 20% off on some of the desserts towards the end of the day. The croissant was still tasting fresh. I wasn’t impressed by the hot chocolate. It was a bit diluted. We had Mumbai chai with milk and it was just ok.
