Agree with most people here who have negative reviews. I was surprised at just how bad the service was. It felt like we were ACTIVELY being ignored and dismissed.

We went here hoping for a great experience, but were extremely disappointed with our meal and the service provided. The atmosphere was trying to be high end, but the tables were old and wobbly and to start there was leftover syrup on our table. This was the first sign of what was to come.

went here saturday after a massage and a facial. my sister was literally served a frozen piece of tuna. the server brought a new one, a few people apologized. mistakes happen, sure. we got the bill and we were charged twice for the tuna, for both that were brought to the table, including the frozen one. again, mistakes happen, so i let that one go as well. i worked in the restaurant industry for many years so the servers apology for this was even fine. but then to get the bill back again, and not have the first one comped, nor a round of drinks, was just so incredibly appalling to me that i couldn’t resist writing a review. sure, they had to dish out two different tunas. but are you kidding me? you served the first one FROZEN. having years of experience working in the industry along with family members who work in the industry has taught me that a scenario like that, ALWAYS results in something comped — because of how huge a mistake it is; to send something to a table that’s literally inedible, because it’s frozen.

To start with the positives: the views were gorgeous and it was a beautiful day. Our waiter was personable and nice.

With ocean views everywhere and fresh LARGE portions, you can’t go wrong with this cheerful and bright restaurant where we enjoyed lunch and breakfast–the following day. Everything was delicious and they were quite accommodating to our dietary needs…making a fab salad (see photos) and a traditional New England lobster roll (can be prepared hot too), bursting with crustacean meat, & don’t forget to request the delish sweet potato fries! For breakfast, we had the fluffy ricotta pancakes which was perfect to share, for us minimal breakfast eaters.

They are avocado toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs was absolutely winner for me until I had crab Benedict! Either you having a dinner or breakfast you will be satisfied with every item on the menu.

We were excited to check out this spot for lunch and the views didn’t disappoint. However, the food and service are not worth the high prices. Breakfast is only served until 11am and the lunch menu is very heavy and not enticing for an outdoor meal.

There’s no denying the amazing ocean view if you sit outside. The food is ok (I’d give my lobster roll the last time I went a solid B-), but they stop serving breakfast at 11am (even on the weekends). Not sure about you but at 11:15, smoked brisket is not really on the top of my list. And the chef is very stubborn about deviating from the lunch menu and adding something simple like an egg to the breakfast holdovers that are still served after 11 (with eggs removed).

Went to Gueney’s with the intention to have a nice brunch on Sunday. Brunch did not happen. It was only three of us, and there weren’t many people in the restaurant as brunch had just started. We sat at our table for around 12 minutes and were never even acknowledged by a server while we watched a server attend to a much larger table that was seated about 10 minutes after us. At that point we just got up and left. Honestly, I feel like we dodged a bullet in the sense that the brunch menu was very unimpressive and the prices were ridiculous for what was on the menu, not to mention that the service would have been horrible if they would have ever come to the table. Management there was obviously non existent. I’ve been in the industry for 30 years and am very well versed in front and back of house procedures. Tillies needs a manager who will actually manage and not sit in an office somewhere and let an inattentive staff run the show.
