For some inexplicable reason I had not been in some time. This place has awesome sandwiches. They go by seemingly arbitrary names, but I have yet to have a bad one. The Indy is my favorite. Cannot speak for all their soup options, but their lemon rice is meh. Regardless, great place to get a great sandwich and shop for some specialty items.

Sandwich City is a hidden gem! It’s half sandwich shop, half Greek grocery store. The food is excellent, and the staff does a great job putting everything together for your order.

First, there is no atmosphere. This is a store. There are a few seats if you want to eat there. There are many different sandwiches to choose from. They also have soup. The sandwiches are around a foot long so you will get filled up. The soups are packed with flavor. They will make your sandwich to your satisfaction. Arrive early since they are open M-Sat. from 10:30 till 7pm.

Older European market/deli with a matching vibe. Foreign meats, cheeses and dry goods. If your in the 219, stop and enjoy their fresh sandwiches and soups. Nothing else like it unless you travel to certain areas in Chicago. Very friendly staff. Been there 10+ times and it’s always dynamite.

This little sandwich shop is great. Food is always good. Service is good even when very busy. This place isn’t just a sandwich shop but a European market. You can buy all kinds of spices and items from around the world. If you every get hungry and in the mood for a sandwich or soup. Go to sandwich city in crown point, they won’t disappoint.

I went in to return something I had bought from here a few days ago which was clearly expired or bad. All I wanted was to replace the product and even showed the lady at the register the product, which she agreed didn’t look right. The owner soon came and yelled tried to convince me there was nothing wrong with the product. He then proceeded to open a new product from the shelf cut it open in front of me and screamed in my face when this could’ve been resolved by them just replacing the expired/bad product. Next time the owner should learn how to properly help customers rather than absolutely embarrass them and make them feel very uncomfortable in front of the whole store. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I got the DeParma and my buddy got the Berlin, plus a quart of stuffed green pepper soup to split. My sandwich was fantastic fresh meat and cheese on good bread, and the soup was well seasoned, very good also. My buddy enjoyed his sandwich as well.
