I was driving back towards Worcester, MS from Bar Harbour and I was hungry. I am from Florida so I wasn’t familiar with this restaurant. I found it on Google. The Italian subs were freaking amazing. They were so fresh and the extra soft bread was the icing on the cake. I wish we had these in Florida. Food was fresh and quick.

How does Amato’s screw up an Italian sandwich? Well your Westbrook location sure did! Sorry if your employee has to do their job correctly! Cole off scraps of onion, 3 slices of tomatoes, but a whole cup of olives ( humm maybe too many) and oh yea no olive oil. Cant live on your reputation forever if you let the employees dictate the quality of your product.

I asked for a large original italian with no olives and extra pickles and got no olives and no pickles and about 2 small pieces of pepper on each side and lots of tomatoes. I used to work at amatos and putting that little pepper on a sandwich would not slide. and no SPO even though I asked for it…

Every time I get food here it’s a terrible experience. Multiple times I’ve come in there’s a woman that works here that is SO rude it blows my mind people can act like that to customers at their job… about a month ago i ordered a pazzo and sandwiches. My pazzo was ready by the time they said it would be but they said it’d be a few more minutes for my sandwiches I stood right there in front of the counter waiting….35 minutes later they go oops your sandwiches were sitting here the whole time. They didnt offer to remake them or anything and at that point they were completely soggy…. Was in a rush this afternoon (3/26/23) and decided to give it another shot since I was in the area…. The girl that answered the phone was CRAZY rude I actually laughed because I couldn’t believe it. I’ve dealt with rude customer service before but I’ve never seen employees that will fight and swear at the employees and attempt to aegue/pick a fight With someone ordering ofood just because they’re clearly having a bad day. I get that people just don’t want to work and people have to take what they can get but Westbrook amatos, get yourself some better employees: yikes
