I and my family have been picking up Sabo’s pizza since we moved to this area ten years ago. The food has always been spot on, staff is always friendly, and the accuracy of the orders have never been incorrect. I mention the accuracy, because we typically order about twice a month at a tune of about $60+ for our entire family. We get subs, pizza, antipastos, pizza balls, combo balls, and the pep balls are outstanding and reheat well for a snack for days. The order has never been wrong. On occasion, we do have it delivered, it’s lightning speed in about 35 minutes, and we live about 5 miles away. Incredible. Good job over there folks!

We ordered Philly subs, a combo supreme and a chicken club sub tonight along with 6 pizza balls. All were amazing. Great prices, fast service, delicious food and Happy bellies. Sabo’s is our new favorite food stop.

My coworker loves this place and orders often from them. Usually he has a great experience with them, which is not the case for today. We placed our order for delivery and we’re not given an expected time. We ended up calling to cancel our order an hour and 20 minuets later after it hadn’t been delivered the two miles down the road to our place of work.

The pizza isn’t best, for me its on Little Caesars level. The subs are okay, saddens me to say the wings are AMAZING ! Customer service isn’t the greatest from what I see on here im going to assume it due to the ownership, considering how he responds. Sad honestly & yes sir this is what I choose to due with my first 10 minute break, time well spent may I add!

My in-laws usually have a good experience here, however last time we went, June 30th, I ordered the pizza, salad, wings combo. Pizza was great, salad was fine. Wings were luke warm and tasted like they were reheated. Definitely not freshly cooked. They were terrible. Also, not including at least one ranch/blue cheese with the wings is super tacky. I’d come here again for the pie, but not the wings.

Best pizza we’ve had in Erie area. We’ve only eaten pizza but having worked for a few pizza places in a leader position I can say this place knows it’s dough. I’d give 4.5 if they’d let me service has been fair/good as well. Highly recommended for the area.

If I didn’t have to give 1 star to give a review I wouldn’t have done it. Their website says they are open till a certain time. Delivery till half hour before. Then they say no. Obviously they are not being hurt by Covid. A lot of us would rather go out (we did delivery before too) But they care about extra income. Places like this should have shut down a long time ago. They don’t care about their patrons. Was trying to give another try after hearing how the owner treats his employees. My bad.

IN JUNE 2021, 1 MONTH BEFORE the restaurant closed, we were staying at the Erie, McKean PA, KOA Campground and were told by KOA staff that Sabo’s delivered to the campground. So to be sure I called and a guy answered and I asked if they delivered to the campground and he said “yes” So I told my husband and he said “ok, call them and order a cheese pizza”. So I called back and a female answered and asked me for the campground’s address so I read it to her right off of the KOA flyer we got at check in. So first she said I gave her the wrong street address (which I didn’t!!!) then she told me that we were too far away for delivery. If I didn’t give her the correct address how did she know that we were too far away??!!!! And come to find out we were ONLY 4 MILES AWAY from them!!! I think she thought I was trying to punk them! Seriously, I’m a little over 40, we just wanted a cheese pizza!!! ☆☆☆REVIEW UPDATE☆☆☆I just REALIZED that I HAVE the AUDIO of the CALL FROM JUNE 2021(1 MONTH BEFORE THEY CLOSED), WHEN THE FEMALE TOLD ME THEY DON’T DELIVER TO THE MCKEAN KOA CAMPGROUND, and THAT IT’S TOO FAR! if you want to hear it leave me your email. ☆☆☆New Update August 2021☆☆☆They closed in JULY 2021.
