Love the vibe here and you just need to understand what a cool and cozy little spot it is. Very reasonable and all local and home cooked. It just feels like the right little joint you would expect in the foothills. Folks there are really nice as well. Cool little community!

If you’re looking for a home cooked me, l Terry’s Cafe & Catering is where it’s at. All the staff are so nice and friendly. The service is great. The atmosphere is likyou’reur sitting at home, and everyone in the neighborhood has come to eat. For this visit, I had the French Toast and sausage and it was great. They now have 2 locations, so you can enjoy the food in State Road, N.C or in Jonesville, N.C

I’ve been duped. Snookered. Bamboozled. Hoodwinked. Wooed and enticed by a five star rating, I was so excited to try Terry’s. All 5 stars (and a few 4s) from all reviewers! This place must be awesome! My server, who was very sweet and accommodating, enthusiastically touted all the food options to the point that I was salivating. I wanted to try EVERYTHING!

Great little local breakfast and lunch spot. Met the most charming elderly gentleman who kept us well entertained during our meal (Mr. Martin, with the train whistle). BTW, the chicken salad sammich was great too. A gem for the area.

My kind of place. Small, friendly. No menu so just tell them what you want and they’ll make it for you. Excellent biscuits and homemade hash browns (ask for onions in them). Just so friendly. Passed by here hundreds of times; now I’m going to make it a regular stop!

We arrived short of their 2pm closing, but they welcomed us inside anyway. The food was excellent and I must say, my cheeseburger was THE best I’ve had in many, many years. The entire staff was exceptionally nice, courteous and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. We will return. One of our new favorite restaurants!
