We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I had not been to Checkers in many years, so my wife and I thought we would give it a try. We wanted to see how much prices had increased and if the food was still the same. Burgers were fairly expensive, as they are everywhere. We ordered two fish sandwiches, a burger and french fries. The food tasted very good! We had forgotten how much we loved the seasoned french fries. I could just eat the fries, because they are so tasty! The young woman at window wasn’t very impressive. As I watched the food prep inside, it seemed like there was one guy doing all the work. We were the only ones there, so that’s probably typical. In summary, I could eat the fries every day! The other food wasn’t exceptional, but it was alright.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this was a terrible experience. We had just gotten to town to visit the University. It was Friday night and we were tired. We went to Checkers — ordered three combo meals — two burgers plain and one with no onions. There was only one other car there. We drove up to pay and the cashier looked extremely mad — not sure why. Then we drove around and waited at least 10-15 minutes for our order. We finally received it and it was mostly wrong. Burgers with everything on them. It was frustrating to be visitors to town, deal with someone who was obviously grumpy and then get food nobody wanted to eat. We had to go to another restaurant. I hope the management works to correct this situation so nobody else wastes their money and time.

While ordering food, the guy at the drive through seemed disinterested in taking our order. When we tried to order fried mushrooms we were told they didn’t sell those anymore even though they were on the menu. By the end of ordering the meal, the person in the drive thru told us they don’t take card only cash which is something that should have been stated at the beginning. When we drove off after wasting our time the people in the drive thru looked upset as if they weren’t the ones being stupid . Horrible service. Instead of sitting there talking to each other like a bunch of lazy bums how about you actually do your job.

The manager that was on duty this morning from 10 something AM has a nasty attitude. The cashier that was on the drive thru he was just as sweet and Polite and very good attitude very professional. I don’t see how he worked with her.. Every time I ask a question she’s snapping. And she’s nasty. Didn’t have a Hair net on Answering the Phone with the gloves on and then start back fixing food with the same gloves she touched the phone with. I didn’t get no food for myself i had took somebody there to get them something but if I see her there I will not get anything to eat. And she had the nerve to roll her eyes at me. The person I took there was going to cancel the order but chose not to because of the young man at the window I hope he becomes a manager he’s so professional.

Went there today placed a big ole order over $60 which isnt much for a normal place, but for checkers thats enough for a mega meal to feed your entire alabama family of cousins. I’ll tell you what the guy over the speaker was a tad rude and they forgot to give us 33% of our food. Got home just to see a whole bunch of the order missing, vanished, gone. Maybe within the 40 seconds between me placing the order and driving up to the window, they forgot what i ordered but didnt forget to charge for it.

Went here to get a quick cheap meal. Ordered burger and fries and the total was about the combo price. At the window, I asked to change it to a combo and was told “no manager on duty to do that.” So I took the food. The fries were HORRIBLE. Half were “recent” the rest tasted like yesterday’s leftovers. The burger was the same low quality as always. I should have returned but the cashiers attitude was so bad it was not worth it.
