Classic, nothing fancy, but excellent oysters. We plan to go again tonight for the steamers but couldn’t help but start out post. If you are looking for a local spot, that gets you oh so fresh and tasty seafood, look no furthers. No frills, no fuss, just good food.

The place to go to get your fresh fishes and crustaceans in Porpoise. The surrounding fish houses are also magnificent.

We’ve got steamed large lobster and steamers. So fresh, succulent, and fits the fishing paradise landscape from their seating terrace. Unbeatable experience. Highly recommended.

Lobsters lobsters lobsters! This place is the real deal for fresh seafood with no frills. They will steam anything for you (clams, lobsters, corn, etc.) but note this place is best for takeaway. We enjoyed 4 lbs of steamers at one of the picnic tables on the deck overlooking the water. Cash preferred – ATM onsite.

It is a somewhat discreet lobster and fish market right on the water. With everything to offer from live lobster to sushi grade tuna.

This seafood market also serves up fresh steamed lobster, shrimp, corn and clams as well as oysters on the half shell. It’s is a no frills place but the food is outstanding. The picnic tables out back have a great view of the water and the owner makes sure you have a authentic experience at a very reasonable price. Add the fact that it’s byob, you can’t go wrong, really enjoyed the break from the downtown scene.

I wanted to love this quaint place but something went badly wrong with our lobster, so tough we couldn’t even eat the tail. That part of our meal was a $60 mistake and in hindsight I should have been less nice and more assertive. In hindsight I think it was way overcooked. Great corn and clam chowder. Wonderful simple deck on the water. Only a Portolet, but it was clean and there was a sink with running water so you could wash your hands.

Steamed and at great prices and great taste, perfectly prepared Would give a 5, but purchased 6 small butter cup sides for dipping and a bowl of clam chowder that weren’t included in our take-out package and not discovered until we were all the way back to our hotel in KPT. (specifically asked, but didn’t check myself, if everything was there when they handed me the large bags).

Really peaceful setting sitting over the water. As stated by others no frills basically fish market but so fun to order up mussels, clams, lobster, corn, clam chowder and sit on a picnic table out back looking out. Bring your own drinks. Very special, fresh and delicious, pricey of course!
