We invite you to the Biergarten and Bier Hall which is open every Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, Friday and Saturday with live music on Friday and Saturday. There is a full restaurant and bar. Play free pool or darts and enjoy fun food, crafty cocktails and cold beverages.
On Saturdays we have a late-night Party with a DJ that plays dance favorites and requests until 2 am.

We get here and are told to pick a seat. It’s not really crowded so we do. We took an hour and 10 minutes to get our food. Half an hour of that was waiting for a waitress that said she’d be with us soon. ( It was odd but they took a credit card at the start of ordering the food).

The DJ I was referring to in my earlier review is your regular DJ. We have been regular visitors over the past several years. Please do not tell your bartender that tried DJing that he was awful since I have not heard him DJ. Thank you. We will continue visiting for the bands.

Do not waste your time going to this place. One star is too high when it takes almost 2 hours to get your food and the owner comes to your table and blames the staff for this issue. The food was horrible when it finally arrived. This was the first and last time we will ever go here. I can not believe that he is able to have any employees work for him with the way that he treats the staff by yelling at one of the waitresses while standing at our table.

Came in here for the first time this past weekend 02/10/23. I have to say, this is such a cool historic place! Limited food options, but who cares, drinks are good, fun atmosphere, super friendly and fun staff! We are from St. Louis, Missouri & I wish we had this exact place in our area! Will definitely visit again next time we are in Batesville, IN.

All of the workers were very friendly. They were doing the best they could with their lack of help. We ordered 2 burgers and sauerkraut balls. It took 90 minutes to get our food. The sauerkraut balls are a nice size and the taste was the best I have ever had. Right now they are in a transition between 2 restaurants into 1. I am confident the kitchen and menu will improve.
