I’ve had a ton of good experiences ordering delivery with JJ’s before but this time kinda made me feel conflicted. I got rude service from a driver who was upset I didn’t tip, he asked for it by saying “are you gonna put a tip on here or what?” and “I simply told him I couldn’t afford to tip extra” and apologized. (Of course the 1 time I don’t tip suddenly it’s an issue) and the guy rolled his eyes at me and was just sorta rude about it. I understand your job is hard, but the weather conditions were fine and I ordered midday when traffic isn’t busy, if it was storming or snowing I would’ve tipped regardless if I could afford it or not. I love supporting and tipping and rarely don’t tip, so it kinda made me feel bad about it. I probably won’t be ordering again anytime soon. They also never cut the sandwiches in half when I press the button online, it’s not a huge issue but I’ve noticed the last couple times I’ve ordered. Tipping is based off service and is not a guaranteed thing, maybe if he had asked a bit differently I mightve tried to look for some cash or something but yeah 🙁 not impressed.

Went in just to use the bathroom and didn’t buy anything cause I wasn’t hungry. Was told by one of the employees that next time restrooms for customers only. Last I checked that rule has never been officially put in place in hastings at all

I have no idea why their rating is so low. We’ve ordered from here a lot, and every delivery person has been super friendly. The sandwiches have always been correctly made and delicious. My favorite sub shop in town. And then they do little things that really go above and beyond and put a smile on your face. Like tonight, I ordered subs for the family, and I always put my name and my husband’s name down for our subs and then “the boys” on the ones for my kids since they share a sub. Tonight, someone wrote “Little Dudes” on their sub and it just made me laugh. I love little things like that. It might not seem like much, but to me it says a lot. Thanks for the smile (and awesome food) Jimmy John’s!

Have tried to order online and go in person. Both times food has been made wrong. Last time I went in ordered a #12 and #1. The #12 was on the receipt as a #1 so they made a number 1 wasn’t at all upset. I nicely pointed out that the wrong sandwich was put on the receipt and was told that they won’t make another one and what’s on the receipt is right. They wouldn’t entertain any resolution and they ended the conversation before I was done trying to talk to them.

Ordered something in the mid afternoon to have for dinner later that night. When I was going to eat I realized there was an issue with my food. I called the store to inquire about the issue, I wasn’t mad or anything just wanted to make sure I wasn’t charged more for something I didn’t get. The guy on the phone that evening said he was the manager. He was very aggressively rude to me on the phone for no reason what so ever, basically yelling at me. I was kind of shocked by this as it caught me off guard, as there was no reason for that behavior and attitude. He also barked at me that I can’t call about food issues after 3 pm. Just based on that experience I will never ever go to any jimmy johns ever again. I sure hope that employee or manager as he called himself gets fired, he obviously can not handle working in a business that involves dealing with customers.

Ordered 50 box lunch’s for our workers. Ordered the day before to give them a heads up for a large order. The guy complained while we were making our order. So received a feeling that this was going to be a problem. So, went and picked up our order and the guy again complaining about having to fix so many different boxes of sandwiches. I guess they are not used to big orders nor do they want the repeat business! Because in the future we will go to the Red Wing store and give them our repeat business. I wonder if the owner or manager is aware of his employees demeanor with customers. We give tips also so guess that doesn’t matter. Sad that you just can not get service the way service should be given. Good luck Hastings Jimmy John’s!

Waited 20 minutes for a sub sandwich. If you are going to make people who walk in wait for over 20 minutes because you are so busy filling online orders you either need to shut down dining room or at least communicate with your patrons there is a long wait. Don’t really see how

I’ve been going here for several years now. The sandwiches they’ve made me are full of fresh ingredients. Said ingredients are tasty. The people in the store enthusiastically greet me when I walk in. They thank me when I leave. They’ve always been helpful. The store is clean, restrooms are clean.

Just stopped in to get a couple of sandwich (which were delicious). I thought the staff was friendly until the cashier snapped at her co worker. I believe that all jobs require teamwork. Well the male that was working asked a question and she snapped “if you don’t know the meats, you shouldn’t be on the board”. What she should have done was use that as an opportunity to teach him. I thought it was incredibly rude. 4/24/21 around 4:15pm
