The place is good, there isn’t a whole lot to say that is bad, only if you don’t like indie music, they play that all the time there. Not bad though I’m not complaining, but if you don’t like indie music just take it To go or just sit outside! It’s a pretty good outdoor seating area too! Anyways, the food tasted fresh and they make it right there in front of you. The people are very friendly and are more than happy to help you out! The only problem I can say is that I asked for wontons on my shrimp tempura bowl and they forgot to add them, I didn’t mind the mistake so I didn’t ask for them, but that didn’t ruin my experience

Its safe to say Butterfish is close to top tier poke, I’ve been to different poke locations but they really aren’t all that and quite expensive. The size portion is worth the price, getting a regular with shrimp and seared ahi (which isn’t extra charge like other spots) with a few toppings and I’m not hungry for half the day. Refreshing, filling, affordable. Only reason I didn’t give a 5⭐ is the lack of customer service, the staff is nice but I never get lite sauce even tho I ask every time. 9/10

I went to lunch here today and when I sat down with my to-go bowl the lid wasn’t on completely, so my whole bowl spilled onto the table. It was right at 12 and the place was packed. I went up to the counter bypassing the line, and one employee immediately saw what was in my hands and said “did your bowl fall, I’ll get right on making you another one” and he jumped right on it. He didn’t ask any questions except what I wanted in my bowl, and I was sitting down back at my table no longer than 3 minutes after I had spilled. Best service A+++

Whoever was cooking on July 17th in the afternoon. They did NOT cook my teriyaki chicken properly. I ended up getting salmonella from the not fully cooked chicken. When I asked for a replacement, the people behind the counter were happy to do so. That was nice. However, this is on me for not realizing it sooner. They took out the chicken, finished cooking it, and placed it back on the same bed of rice that the “medium rare” chicken was sitting on. I didn’t realize it until halfway through the meal. I am definitely not coming back nor recommending this place to anyone.

My wife and i decided to stop here for lunch after our daughters pediatric appointment. I had previously eaten at another poke place called “pokebowl express” and we were less than thrilled about our experience. I was very skeptical about eating at another poke place, but I’m glad I did.

Amazing place. Amazing food. The manger is a breath of fresh air, a minor mistake and he was kind enough to make up for it in an above and beyond way. The customer service is top notch. Really impressed by the manager Jeff, he made this visit worth a review. We will be coming back. It’s the simple things that really count.
