They’re food is delicious but service sucks. Very typical desi attitude. I visited there first time and waited about half n hour for someone to come and greet. or to take order no one approached to us until we figure out to walk toward counter and order. Also they gave us plastic forks only and the plate. They’re were no knives or spoon.

Stay away from this place. Food is super oily and bland in flavor. Came in to order only Naans one day and specifically told them that I would like them Well-Done and Thin. I come back and the Naan is barely cooked almost looking like flour and not thin. I complained to the guy in the front who brought the old aunty with the white hair to speak with me. She refused to acknowledge her mistake and said in Urdu, “this is the way I cook my Naans, I’m not fixing it.” I was furious and demanded the guy in the front to refund my money. He refused and had the lady make the Naans Well-Done. I took the Naans home and they were still unable to be eaten.

Was missing a chicken kebab and paid 16 bucks for a small container of goat korma that was mostly filled with oil and loads of oil. No goat gravy. Back in the days the goat korma used to be fire but not anymore. Only reason I gave it a 2 bc of the front lady was welcoming but honestly deserves a 1 for food quality . Next time don’t fill the oily liquid all the way up. Splattered all over my kitchen. She overcharged me another 5 bucks on top of that. Being Punjabi I didn’t say a word about the money.

We always get paya or nehari and naan. Its one of the best places in nyc for that. I would not agree with most people about rude and arrogant people working there. They genuinely are good at what they serve and don’t need the formality of being sugarcoated.

I’ve been getting naans from this place for over 3 years now and sadly, their service keeps on worsening. I went a while ago to pick up 9 naans and the lady was praying, so I waited. She closed the door and went back inside to the kitchen(?) Anyways, another customer came after 20 min and she came out, gave him his order and went back in, completely ignoring me. And when I rang their bell because it had been over 30 min and she came out just so she could take the money. She was on call with someone the entire time I was there. I gave her the money and she went back in. I was really done by this point because it was taking a long time. I even rang the bell several times but no one came. She finally came after a long time of waiting and gave me my order.
