I was in town because my mother passed away. I know the manager here didn’t know that, but I am only stating it because the loss was so sudden that it left us unprepared. Again, it’s not the managers fault. I state this because we have been trying to save money any way we can while we were raising it for my mother’s services. Because we were staying in a hotel, we used codes for fast food or restaurants wherever we could. Every Burger King has always honored these codes until this restaurant. Even if the system is down, others have still gone above and beyond, and this includes other restaurants as well. I thought they would honor it here when the drive-thru attendant stated that their system hasn’t been updated to receive the codes. The attendant, when I pulled up, was going to honor it cause I showed it to him, but he had to ask the manager. The manager came to the window all totalitarian like, and on a power trip, and stated simply, “Our systems are not updated so we can’t help you!” I asked him very politely, even though he was rude, if he could honor it, and his answer was, “No, I can not.” I know there are rules and regulations, that people must follow, but at least do it with empathy. Cause you never know what someone is going through.

The price was $1.00 / burger higher than was posted on the drive through sign outside. When l asked about it, l was told the increase was programmed in and nothing could be done. We will take our $80-$100 / month business elsewhere. WORTH NOTING – 4 ORDERS IN A ROW WERE MADE WRONG, AND BECAUSE OF OUR FAMILY LOYALTY, WE STILL TRIED TO DO BUSINESS HERE!!!

From start to finish this place was terrible. While nice, the woman on drive thru just did a poor job at taking our order. Our sandwiches were not what we ordered, got the wrong drink, super slow, the fries were old and soft, the burgers were mediocre at best, and the guy at the window just seemed so confused the whole time.

I was at the new location for the first time today @ 2:22pm on 8401 N. Navarro St. I went through drive thru and placed my order. The cashier told me they didn’t have large cups ONLY small cups. I said that’s fine. Well when I pulled up to the window I could see stacks of medium cups and she was still going to give me a small. I asked her if I could have one of the medium cubs and she just rolled her eyes and closed the window. Then she gave me my drink and order. She didn’t give me my card because she put it in my bag. (Very unprofessional) Also I was going to ask her for ranch but when I was trying to she closed the window after I gabed my bag. This whole time this was going on the manager was right there and was not saying a word. (I don’t feel like blasting the girls name but she needs to be nicer). I did call the location but no one picked up the phone.

I ordered my food and the restaurant failed to say that they had only 1 cook who was taking almost 10 minutes to make 1 order at a time, after waiting 25 minutes I had to get a refund because they still had not even started cooking my food! It’s suppose to be fast food, I have been served faster at dine in restaurants, I will NEVER go to that location again!

The gentleman running this store is doing a great job! He used to be at the other location but they lucked out on losing him. The staff is friendly, and the food is always HOT & FRESH. It has been a very nice turn around since he’s taken over! Y’all keep up the good work!

This new Burger King has finally brought it back to Victoria . The old one was trash. Burger King, the way it should be today. Mary and the general manager know how to treat people. Old school great whoppers.
