Had dinner at this new to brick and mortar restaurant. Atmosphere is very welcoming. we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress took great care of us, checking in on us from time to time from order to finish. The food was awesome! I had the Tripleta sandwich and my wife had the Cuban. They were both flavorful and plentiful. We enjoyed the experience and the food. The only improvement I would suggest is to get a soda fountain but I understand why you have cans.

The staff was super friendly. The appetizers came out fast, but they accidentally forgot our main order due to a mix up in the kitchen, it only delayed our order by a few minutes though, (in fact it was so short of a delay I hadn’t realized it happened to be honest), but they not only immediately caught the mistake and apologized but the chef or owner (I’m not sure which he was) came out and apologized personally and gave us a 10% discount on our order. All of the food was amazing, the smells and atmosphere were amazing and the staff was beyond stellar. How a man reacts in failure is often a better tell of character than how he reacts to success. These guys were awesome I’d give 6 stars if it could.

Friendly atmosphere, server was amazing, food was delicious, price was reasonable, food portions are large enough to share, and we spoke with the owner who was very friendly, welcoming, personable, and a Veteran. Thank you for your service and for bringing the flavors of Puerto Rico to Belton.

Love this place! It’s great to have a puerto rican restaurant near Waco. The location at Belton downtown is perfect, and the atmosphere inside the place is very nice. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and seated by a super nice and diligent server. To start, we had Alcapurrias de Carne and guava mojitos. Highly recommend them! They are so good! After that, we opted for Mofongo with pernil and a Mofongo with Carne frita. They come with a nice mayo ketchup sauce. We really enjoyed the delicious food, the atmosphere of the place, and how friendly the owner and all the servers were with everyone. We will definitely come back to try more things from their menu. Highly recommend this place!

Everything I’ve had from this place was amazing. And they are very friendly. The owner made the restaurant feel like home to my new yorican baby. We love it. 10 out of 10. Hopefully, they start staying open a little later.

Great food and service! Definitely a hidden gem in Belton, Texas. Great Puerto Rican authentic cuisine! I had the white rice with abichuelas, tostones, and pernil, it was delicious! Definitely worth the drive!

Ok so living in Killeen area we are limited to only a few puertorican restaurants and I only go to 2 because I don’t like the other ones so as I’m going to Belton I decide to good puertorican restaurant n this one pops up . When I tell you they did not disappoint I’m not lying I will be making a 30min drive to go eat there for sure lol

The food was good and decent amount… definitely watch out for the amount of sauce or condiments they put on but otherwise the food tasted great! The fries were amazing. I haven’t tried everything yet but hopefully next time I’ll try the other stuff. Fries were great but I’ve had better sandwich from the Bodega in downtown Killeen.

All I have to say is: take the waiter’s suggestions. I am not always an adventurous eater, so I typically stick to one of their sandwich options. But last time I was persuaded to try one of the rice and bean dishes with a meat on top and I will never go back. It was the most delicious thing ever! I’m glad I listened to them!

This cozy restaurant has incredible history and an amazing history. The train station that houses this restaurant is a co‐op that holds a wine bar, diner, coffee spot and cookie shop. Come early and experience everything; show up late evening and have a glass of wine or tapas. Quiet upstairs tables and fun barside service.
