Went to Gyro Star today for dinner and tried their Gyro plate. The service was really good and quick and only waited few mins for my food. The Gyro plate was really filling and tasted great, they definitely don’t skimp out on the meat. Their menu also had lots of options which is great.

When this place first opened it was excellent, but now the people in there are rude, dismissive and ignore any requests. They barely look up from their phone when taking their order and act like we’re inconveniencing them.

So my son and I went in to gyro star for the first time. I was a little skeptical I never had this kind of food before and my son has been wanting to try this place because he’s heard good things about it. So I wanted my first gyro plate with the cucumber sauce or dressing whichever you want to call it. The guys that work there are friendly and they give you a ton of food for what you pay for it. That one meal will equal almost three meals for me. The rice was good but the gyro and the cucumber sauce was fantastic yum yum I am so glad I went there. They give you a little salad with the cucumber sauce or dressing which was really good too. And the pita bread was good too I made little sandwiches as I was eating. This is a must go and for me the price was worth it since of several meals for me. Almost feel proud of myself for finally trying Greek food. It feels good to support a local business two instead of one of those big chain restaurants and knowing this food is made fresh and is really good it’s definitely worth it. Family run who wants to make you happy, satisfied and to be a repeat customer. The cucumber dressing is the bomb.. So glad they are so close by I could even walk if I wanted to. Their love of food abs what they do proves in their food and service.
