Had read all the hoopla about Rio’s Pizza and its 3 main locations. The closest to my 20 minute drive was South El Monte. Had read a few of the neg reviews but thought I will try it. All info shows closing time of 10pm even on Sunday which is today. I got there and oh such a maddening dispointment! Got there before 8:30pm and the friggin’ place is closed!! No bigger business killer than a business being closed on off hours. A not speak of the reflection on Women Run Businesses. I called Montebello store. They greeted warmly and THEY WERE open. Even if a little farther drive, I will be going to Montebello store going forward.

Food is great but a bit pricey!! Customer service isnt the best.. the old lady working there is rude.. asked us to move seats bcus what if a bigger party came in? Mind you the whole time we dined in… there were only two other tables full…It was just unnecessary. The gentleman with the beard is super nice n helpful tho!

Have good pizza but unfortunately bad service. Who ever the woman is that answers the phone would rather pick a fight with a mere mention of how cold the pizza was last time at pick up. Was told 30 min and when arrived it was cold, also was ignored till the man in the back of the kitchen making the pizza had to come out and apologize. A mistake was made and it wasn’t a big deal just wanted you guys to be aware, till that attitude developed. To the owner, I don’t think you’re employees should be making your customers feel unwelcomed, if I wanted s***** service I would have gone to chuck e cheese. I’m sorry your good pizza doesn’t have good service to compliment it.

Hands down worst service by drunk staff. Took an hour to receive my pizza while dining in. I was the only table there. Had to get refunded my money after wasting one hour waiting for food that never showed up. Staff was to busy getting drunk than attend customer
