Went here for lunch. A cool, unique place with a line a mile long. It moves fast and is worth it. There is a guy at the front who gives you the basics on ordering if you’re a 1st timer. It’s super helpful and he does a great job. The food was great with several different meat options (you can combine 2 meats if you can’t choose) and all sorts of toppings. This was an awesome lunch. The people here were very friendly and welcoming. We had the burrito and the tamales. Both were really good. I got the hot sauce and it was seriously hot but very good. This is our ne lunch spot! I love it. They do take cc but there is a cash discount.

So the idea of this place is so nice. You pay first and they don’t charge extra for queso, guacamole, or multiple meat choices. The line is long but moves fast. Once you enter it’s like a 90’s time capsule and is very cool decor. One of the owners greets you in line and explains how to order if you have never been. The other owner sits at the cash register, so it’s pretty cool how involved they are in the business. My burrito was delicious and I will be back. While waiting in line someone asked the owner how they handled COVID and he explained that they paid staff throughout the whole time whether they were open or not. I love that kind of attitude and supporting a restaurant that takes care of their employees.

This was a great place for lunch and a hidden gem of a place for a first time Charlotte visitor. I ate the steak and chicken burrito bowl. Really enjoyed the Cheeriwine (don’t have that in Louisiana). Thank you Chris and owner Johnny for your delicious fresh-Mex! For years, consistently one of the best burritos in Charlotte. Always fast and service is great. Just read up in the news how they all came together to help an employee who retired after two decades of working there collect enough money to almost pay off her mortgage. Pay at the register, for the next ten feet you’re the boss. This place is great. Delicious and flavorful food for a great price. I go here almost weekly for lunch and recommend it to everyone who works uptown. The line is long but it moves fast. Service is extremely friendly.

We stopped by for a quick lunch! We are a family of mixed presences (veg and non veg, spicy and not spicy). A manager who greeted us, made sure the line was moving quickly and everyone was informed about their options. The owner welcomed us at the register and before we knew, we were full and happy.
