This place deserves every one of it’s 5 stars for delivering a dining experience that exudes authenticity. The menu got wide variety of options, and we couldn’t resist trying both pasta and pizza. Each dish was a masterpiece, perfectly capturing the essence of Italian flavors. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the pizzas had that heavenly wood-fired taste. To top it all off, the dessert was simply divine. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also impeccable. The attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was memorable. This restaurant is a hidden gem that we’re thrilled to have discovered, and we’ll undoubtedly be back for more of their mouthwatering delights.

Best pizza I’ve ever had in Tahoe. I’ve always been skeptical of pizza in Tahoe but this place puts all others to shame. The sauce is amazing, it’s very clear that Gastromaniac wants to offer an authentic Italian taste and they nailed it. Definitely stop by for a pizza or two if you are in the area. I wish we had pizza this good in Oakland.

Amazing pizza and pasta, all freshly made on site. The pasta was so delicious and unique. The only downside is you have to order at the counter rather than having a server. It’s also kind of small inside, but it’s so very tasty.

I was recommended the place by an aunt and I went with my mom. We ordered to go since we have a parrot who requires a lot of attention. We were very excited about the food, but it didnt look like the picture. The taste was also pretty bad. Probably one of the worst pizzas and pastas ive had in a while. It almost reminded me of food distribution for low income families that my family was given during COVID. Our pizza was burnt, very thin, extremely greasy, and lacked any taste. The pasta was also bland and tastes and smelled like dog food. The service was actually fine. Im not sure if we ordered something that was not popular or just got unlucky. We ordered the margherita pizza and the bolognese pasta

We were looking for Italian after getting here in the dark and the nice lighting while driving on 50 attracted my attention and wow this place was amazing. It was lively and the servers had great personalities and attention to detail. We were lucky enough to arrive on the 3rd Thursday of the month which gets an all you can eat pizza experience for a very decent price, on top of that the pizzas had amazing complex flavors to them. The wine on tap was also really cool. Another great quality of this establishment is they make all the pasta shells and dough in house. This was a rare and great experience and will be sharing with friends and family.

Wow, we had high hopes as this place came highly recommended. We are Lake Tahoe locals. We called at 4:35 and they said no problem with ordering take out. We asked because their website doesn’t say take out. Anyway, we called back 5 minutes later and were told they were too busy for a take out order and to call back in a half hour. I asked if we would definitely be able to order in a half hour and the gal said she couldn’t be sure. So my guy drove there. He tried to order pesto, they were out, really? So he ordered the potato gnocchi with bolognese, a tomato basil pasta and the fried artichokes. He gets home, we open the boxes. Instead of gnocchi they gave us fried bread. The fried artichokes was one artichoke and the tomato basil pasta didn’t have a lick of basil. Needless to say, we will NOT be back and will be sure to share our experience with other locals,

Probably the best pizza in town. They were packed and the service was on point. I do not know who the guy in the kitchen was but 10 out 10, dude. I hope you see this review, the only guy in the kitchen with black apron, shirt and hat on. You checked on us several times and even smiled and waved as we were leaving, while you were making food.
