Have been going to this place for years but today I actually tried more things in their menu and I loved it. My husband and I are very pleased with their food and their service. Food is very delicious but their salsa is very spicy to which it made it better. Brought this menudo back home and it’s great.

I just went there yesterday for a torta with asada. She had it ready within a couple minutes literally. I thought it was kind of fast but didn’t think anything else of it. When I opened it up, it was the driest nastiest meat I have ever tasted. I think they already had it cooked from a different order and just gave me the stuff that had been sitting out. I’ve ordered food there before and never had anything this dry and old tasting. I was very disappointed. I look like a white guy but I’m half Mexican and every time I go there they treat me differently than other people. I’m so disappointed in the food and I will never be going back there again. Which is unfortunate because I live right by it. I recommend nobody going there for food. Buy their groceries but don’t order the food.

This is a great little cafe /store and quite unique to Tulsa. It’s hidden in a strip mall. You will find it packed full of locals anytime. They have everything you need from tacos to fajita platters. I recommend the “Platillo a La Mexicana” at 5.99 it is authentic Mexican deliciousness. Prices here are very good. The red sauce is delicious and very hot. The green sauce is delicious and mild. Very friendly people and very welcoming to Americans. The building g they are in is old, but they seem to keep their kitchen clean, which I appreciate.

This place is tiny and unassuming, but do not discount what they offer. The food is superb, the service is excellent, and it has become my go-to for tacos in Tulsa. They are also a grocer, so everything is super fresh.
