I went to Food Etc. that evening and waited in line to place my order. It was only 6:30 pm, half an hour before the kitchen closes. I placed an order with the cashier for two orders of onion rings, but the lady cashier at the register refused my order because she said “the board was full”. So I politely left. If you offer items on your menu, you should be able to sell them half an hour before closing time. I probably won’t go back. It’s sad, because they do make good food. But who wants to stay in line 10 or 15 minutes and then be told we won’t make your order, but those before me, and a man after me were served.

Drove out from Lafayette on a Saturday, at 2:00pm, to find Food Etc. Locked up and dark. There was no note on the door mentioning why they were closed during regular business hours, the “OPEN” light was on, but no one was home. It is ridiculous, and not the first it this has happened. Extremely disappointed (probably as much as the other 3 cars that showed up while in the parking lot).

My family has been ordering from food Etc for several years now usually atleast a few times a month and orders are uusually 20 -24 piece chicken and or sides. My father usually spends atleast $40 when ordering from them. So when my father and brother went the other day at 6:00 and they said they only had a few pieces of chicken left and close at 7:00 I was very very disappointed to hear that. If you close at 7:00 don’t tell a “supposed to be valued customer” you’re not cooking anymore @ 6:00 just because of what I assume is you want to clean up and get home early!! You have a business run it the way you should “Customer first”
