On a motorcycle trip heading across the state of Illinois along The Illinois river over to the Mississippi river for a weekend barhop. stopped in here to get something to eat for dinner and to let the rain pass. First thought the place is very clean, cool tavern atmosphere and they have a nice menu, they have a little pool hall, a slot game room, dartboard and pro golf. We ordered the nachos they were good but we would have definitely ordered them without the purple onions because there was no shortage of them on the nachos. After leaving Ziggys my girlfriend and I both agreed that because we weren’t local or regulars it seemed as if we were an inconvenience. I’m sure it wasn’t meant to be like that but that’s how it was and that was our experience. the gentleman next to us was also on a motorcycle stop to slide out of the rain and it seemed to us he felt the same way. Im sure Ziggys is a Good Tavern but for me and my Girl it will be written up as a good once in a life time stop.

Ordered for the second time ever last night 7/13. Was told on the phone food would be done in 45-50 minutes for 2 burgers and fried mushrooms. Didn’t mind the wait as I live close. Get my food as the man asked the woman I spoke with why I was told almost an hour wait as my food had been sitting for Atleast 30 minutes. Bring my food home and nothing was really edible. Bread had hardened, pizza burger was weirdly spicy unlike the previous time and the fries were extremely hard and stale. I like to support local businesses and the workers are great, but I’m very dissatisfied

After a five hour drive from Louisville Ky. We visited ZIGGY’S and was greeted with smiles and hello’s everyone was nice and friendly, had a few drinks and an appetizer. But saw someone else eating a nice looking burger i had to try. 2 days later we were right back there for burgers , darts, and some pool, very cool place, even has a private area with slots. We highly recommend ZIGGY’S. We definitely will be back for more of the warm atmosphere. Great place and great people!!!

Went there for lunch got the jade bacon burger twice. First time it was good but fries were little burnt, second time burger was undercooked but fries were ok. Place looked clean and nice. They have biliard tables, slots and darts for fun.
