By far the best steak restaurant in Albuquerque. Tradition and taste have surpassed all other options in the Abq. The steak was perfectly cooked and our waiter made the finest recommendations for my wife to try the Fish Special – Mackerel. It was well balanced with a buttery and seasoned taste. Each meal comes with a salad or soup of the day. And since it was our anniversary, our waiter even comped us a rich chocolate mousse accompanied with fresh fruit and whipped cream.

We were very lucky to get a table on short notice here last evening. Thank you to the internet for making this place known to visitors from out of town, as we would never have come across it otherwise. My wife and I agreed it was one of the better meals we have ever had. This place is quaint by definition. It was authentic and the ambiance was great. Our service was excellent and the food was incredible. A fantastic find in Old Albuquerque that exceeded our expectations. Thank you Steve for getting us in last minute. Wish I could remember our server’s name. He took care of us but allowed us to enjoy the experience. A memorable evening. If we ever return to Albuquerque, we will visit here again. Don’t miss out, check their hours ahead of time and make reservations.

The moment we walked in we were met with stiffness and unwelcome vibe. We met a gentlemen by the door and said we had a reservation. He said yes at 5:30 you’ll have to wait here for 15 minutes(we were 15 min early). We said ok and then asked if we could order a drink and he said no- so we sat down. Two men walked in shortly after, without a reservation and the man said they would have to wait 15 min as well. Then they asked if they could have a drink and the man said yes I’ll set you guys up. He then sat them at a table. I think he realized how rude that must’ve seemed to us and thankfully had our group seated shortly after. Once we sat down, the vibe thankfully transformed to a positive enjoyable one. We had a great server, Sean! The food was delicious. I recommend the upgraded salad- that baked Bre was phenomenal. The dinner rolls were fresh and so yummy. I had the ribeye which was prepared perfectly. The crepe desserts took it to another level. Highly recommend the food and service just ignore the greeter(possibly owner) who will not enhance your experience one bit.

Definitely call ahead and get a reservation because this place is awesome. If you are like us and love to go cruising, you’re going to love this menu. We had shrimp scampi, escargot, Henry IV, and ended it with creme brulee. Our server Sean was amazing and the food was exquisite! On cruise ships yes cargo is heavier on the garlic which I’m used to and love but there’s this more on the lemon side. Very extensive menu and beautiful choices. Highly recommend and if we had one in town we’d eat their often.

My partner and I went here 3 years ago for our anniversary, not knowing it would start a tradition for. The service is always amiable and exceptional. Food is beyond incredible. Their steaks are truly the best in town. They make Vernon’s look like Sizzler. The Henry IV is such a unique, incredibly delicious dish. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend wanted to originally take us here for our first date but we didn’t know about the reservation requirements. Must say was well worth the wait. It was our first time here and they did an outstanding job making us welcome. My daughter joined us and they made sure she was included in every decision from drinks,salad and meal. Our waiter Joseph did an outstanding job explaining the menu and even special request for all of us to enjoy our food. Our drinks never went empty which is a huge plus in my books. The food was amazing and by far some of the best I have had in a while when going out to eat. We had the pleasure of sitting close to where they place all the food when going out and I can say I saw plenty of plates I would love to go back and try. The coordination that goes behind making that place run so smoothly is impressive. We were well taken care of but not over or under serve. All the communication we received never left us wondering where our food was. I must also add the dessert was delicious and well presented.
