We had a wonderful dinner last night at the Blue Heron. The place was definitely busy, but we did not feel that from a service perspective. Our server, Katie, was friendly, efficient and skilled. She anticipated needs and seemed very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food came out quickly. Everything was delicious-the pasta dishes were hot and flavorful, they obviously were prepared and immediately delivered to our table. The beef dip sandwich was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The salads were fresh and well proportioned. I couldn’t believe how many shrimp were in the shrimp cocktail appetizer. Lastly, the ambiance on the patio was lovely. Especially sitting near the fountain. Thank you for a wonderful meal and relaxing time. We will absolutely be back again!

We had a large party for a family birthday and the staff accommodated us on the patio. It was perfect. The special was a chicken pesto pasta and was delicious. We have NEVER had a bad meal here. The fish fry is always plentiful and cooked perfectly. Fresh side salads and perfect calamari. The owner is hands on and almost always working when we go there. Friendly staff.

Visiting from out of town and your spot was recommended. We sat on the patio. The food was delicious. Our waitress was wonderful. We had the fish and the meatloaf. Our picky eater polished it all off. The only thing that keeps this from a solid 5 star is that the waitresses didn’t great us and we stood around for a good 10/15 minutes before someone finally asked if we needed to be seated. Of course we did, that’s why we’re standing there…

Place is excellent visited twice both times great food and awesome service. Owner is right there answering all questions. I broke a small piece of the fish off you’ll see in the picture but it was amazing.. unbelievable shrimp and corn chowder… Taco night is an awesome deal besides being delicious…

This is a great local restaurant with a bar. They are only open Tuesday through Saturday. The Meatloaf Dinner lived up to the menu claim. It has an excellent gravy and huge portion size. The dining area appears to be newly remodeled. It is warm and inviting. I would definitely go here again.

Heard good things, tried it out – pretty disappointing.. side salads were brown and obviously bagged lettuce, calamari had burnt marinara sauce and zero seasoning.. carbonara entree had what looked like microwaved bacon in it and was pure cream.. on top of that took an hour to receive our entrees… won’t be returning..

Stopped by for takeout (because of our dog) and found the restaurant relaxed and comfortable. The patio would be a great option once it’s warmer. The food was very tasty–the fish was fresh, the fries were crispy and tender, and the Cole slaw was delicious. Service was friendly and quick.

There was a short wait when we got to the restaurant. We ordered the fish fry. Took 1/2 hr or more to get our dinner. Fish was ok but mac and cheese almost cold and not that great.
