Wonderful spot with delicious cuisine and amazing staff! Our waitress Jill was the best – knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. The drinks were incredible – especially the espresso martini! It was an amazing, memorable Valentines Day experience. Can’t wait to come back!

The center of Wallingford has some great food choices. My favorite wasn’t opening for another hour so we chose Gaetano’s Tavern on Main, after looking at a couple of posted menus in windows. Outdoor seating all neighbors each other on the street in this restaurant row, so we chose a sidewalk table by the door. I had to go inside to ask for service but they were happy to accommodate us and gave attentive service throughout.

A regular for us.. great food at very fair prices. Love eating outside there. Try the pork chop picante if you like a bit of heat… not overwhelming but delish. (See pic) The staff there has alwUs been pleasant too. Oh and one other thing.. unlike alot of other restaurants these days…the prices are reasonable and portions very good!

First off, I want to say that the music in there is way too loud and also caused me to go deaf. Secondly, the food is absolutely horrible and dry as my chicken tenders were. Whoever cooks the food there, needs to go. Also, the service there is awful as I had to wait 15 minutes to get my drink…WAY TO LONG TO WAIT FOR A DRINK! Overall and lastly, this place really needs to pick up their act or I will not come back and will go to McDonald’s on Route 5 instead!
