Family owned, the empanadas I ordered from Island Empanada were absolutely divine. The service was quick and the people were more than friendly. Their selection was large and I could tell that every empanada was prepared on-premise. The quality of the meat was superb. I go here every so often when my stomach desires something delectable. Believe me when I tell you that you will be satisfied.

Stopped in to try. Ordered two meals. At first, we weren’t sure it would be enough food. The empanadas looked small. When we got home we realized they were nicely filled and very tasty. The sides were out of control and very filling. Well worth the money for a quick meal. Great mix of options and flavors. Even the beef Chipotle was spicy and gave good heat without being too wimpy or over the top. We’ll definitely be back and look forward to the new locations opening closer to home.

Awesome food! Oreo empanada is one of the best food creations ever, def a must try. The 5-8pm dinner special is a great deal. 3 empanadas rice/beans plantains or double rice beans with a drink for 15 bucks is pretty hard to beat nowadays. Rice and beans are some of the best ive had from a restaurant. Highly reccommended.

Very Good food, but not as much food as a food truck or a bodega, coulda gave a larger soda with the meal for 13.50 … staff was happy to help and fast.. thats always nice to see. I will be back , but on payday 🙂
