The food and service here truly is great, but it should be a crime for a small pasta dish to be over $30, which all but one of their primi menu section is. All of the dishes were pretty small, to be honest.

Very interesting and cozy restaurant with outside seating that almost as good as inside. We had a prefix tasting menu, which is recently my favorite. You will have 4 courses with 4 options that you have to choose from, plus dessert. You also have an option for wine paring for an additional price. My absolute favorites were peas salad, short rubs ravioli, and rabbit ragu. Despite small size portions due to some 10 -15 minutes gaps between serving, I felt full. Everything was very tasty. Also the ambiance is great to have a nice dinner with friends or to bring the date. The only reason I gave them 4 stars that in my opinion, the price vs. service and food ratio is a bit too much. I was there with my friend, and only he was ordering wine paring that left us with a check for $190 each (20% tip included). Again, it is not a bad thing. The service was great, but compared to other similar experiences that I recently had, I felt that the price should be lower. But I would still come back to this place.

Incredible dinner at Forsythia – this place has been on my list for years and it did not disappoint! We had the tasting menu and opted for the beverage pairing. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable. Each dish was delicious, yet seemingly light. Every bite was indulgent. Don’t skip the agnolotti, polpetta or polpo (not pictured). I hope to come back to dine again, and for a pasta making class as well!

Avoid the eggplant. It was literally just batter and no eggplant. The best part of this meal was the foccacia and the butter, which says something. The agnolotti was decent but not breathtaking, and the carbonara tasted sour, curdled, and had a funky aftertaste. Not worth it for the price.

Hands down, my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. Incredible service and atmosphere, especially if you sit at the bar, and the food is incredible. The owner opened the restaurant after he gained enough traction by doing make-your-own pasta lessons during the pandemic.

All the food was good, but no single dish awed me, and I felt the same about the dessert. The set menu was fun in a group where we could taste most dishes. The wine was expensive. The service was effective and friendly.

Went before it went prix fixe only! Got the Agnolotti and the Tortelli which were both very flavorful and cooked to perfection. They also had a prosciutto with honey and ricotta appetizer which was outrageous!

Probably among the best pastas I’ve ever had in my life – and I’ve been to Italy! I wouldn’t be lying if I said I crave the pasta I had there almost every day lol. First things first, start with Suppli I – an arancini, but no any arancini. So crispy and full of flavor (made with cacio e Pepe risotto) and the sauce is so delicious. I had the Agnolotti (it’s one of their famous pastas) – a pasta stuffed with braised short pasta. The pasta just melts and the filling is so delicious. My friend had the tortelli stuffed with mascarpone and mushrooms and OMG! Also, the focaccia they serve as courtesy is delicious too.

I came here to take a pasta making class with some friends. We had and amazing time learning how to make the dough and even learned how to make 5 different shapes of pasta. Chef Jacob is absolutely wonderful and patient but also is an incredible teacher.
