Service was really great, everyone was so sweet and kind. Arugula salad was yummy. Shrimp roll is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had in my life. Took one bite and spit it out. I never eat at hotels because it’s so expensive and this shrimp roll makes me never wanna do it again haha.

First of all, the service was 5+ stars, which brought the rating up to two stars. Otherwise, it would have been a negative star. Second, the outside patio dining is very relaxing and enjoyable. Finally, the food is okay, but my barramundi sandwich was a joke. The tiny piece of the fish was less than 50% of the surface area of the French roll. It looked like there should be two pieces of the fish, but the chef only used one. I know inflation has hit us all, but reducing the size by half is just not nice. I basically ate a half of sandwich with just shredded cabbage. My wife’s and son’s sandwiches were okay and were not reduced in size.

On this trip to Palm Springs (6/2023), the common theme throughout was subpar service. Juniper was not the exception. And the food was nothing rave about, either–I cannot recommend anything.

We picked this restaurant because I like unusual names. It was different than what we imagined. However we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent! Salads were exceptional. Pizza very good. They also have a good wine selection. We tried the orange wine. Hadn’t heard of it before. I’m not much of a drinker but I liked the orange wine.

Had three separate meals as this is the restaurant Diamond members get free breakfast. Love you have until 3 to eat rather than just regular breakfast hours. Six different meals and everyone has been terrible. Barramundi sandwich had a tiny piece of fish and bread with zero flavor. Chicken panini sandwich is smothered in butter and has awful chips on TVs side. Tomato salad had four pieces of tomato and a full loaf of breaded croutons. The worst dish by far was the croque madam…no ham and smothered in vile tasting and smelling cream spinach sauce. Did not even eat a full mouth full. Coffees are good but I understand why the place is deserted. What I don’t understand is the food on the pool deck is great. Just bring that menu here or close this place. It gives the hotel a terrible reputation. Asked about putting a heater on – told she does not know how and said she would ask someone but 25 mins later nothing in a completely empty restaurant at 2.45pm on a Friday when other restaurants are busy. Stay away

Positive: Nice outside seating away from the main road. Cozy for sitting and chatting.

Kind of Pricey for what you get. They was short Staffed. The waiter was doing the best he could. Menu is limited. Not my type of restaurant but for people that want to just enjoy a nice spot.

The atmosphere is beautiful and the service was AMAZING. I went in (first time there), to place a carryout order and the gentleman assisting me was very helpful and efficient! The two items I ordered were ready in 10 minutes! That being said, I did not care for the food. I ordered the quiche and the french toast. The quiche really didn’t have any flavor to it and had argula piled on it. The french toast was smothered with some kind of berry paste all over it that did not taste good and made the toast soggy. None of it was salvagable. I will say that this is probably my fault for not reading the fine print. I just saw the french toast on the menu and assumed it was plain unless you requested it otherwise. Definitely dissapointed that I just paid $46 w/tip for breakfast and sadly couldn’t eat any of it. This is in no way meant to be a negative review towards the establishment. I’m sure others may enjoy the unique way in which they prepare these entrees. Just not for me!
