SUPERBURGER has more than 60 years of history serving made to order hamburgers from our original location on 4th street in Santa Rosa. A Superburger is a rustic grind of choice chuck steaks grilled to order. Our standard patty is 7 ounces and is cooked medium well to a warm rosy center unless you have a special request. Superburgers come with the fixings on the side: crispy iceberg lettuce, lively red onion, good ol’ tomato and fresh brined pickles. If you prefer grass fed beef just ask we have you covered. If you are craving the ultimate meatless burger experience you are in luck, we have that too.

Chili Burger
Our chili recipe is a childhood memory of “Special Beans” dad used to make when mom wasn’t watching. A little sweet from the BBQ and a little spicy from the chilis combine with beans, ground beef and little pieces of onion and garlic into a recipe only found at Superburger. Our chili smothers our all beef hamburgers and are great just like that. Ok, maybe a little shredded cheese and onions if you must.

Sadly, this place is going downhill and has a huge issue with consistency. It used to be the best and the past five times I’ve had it, it’s usually FREEZING COLD, beef arrived raw in the middle and the chicken was just raw all around, the portions for the sides vary from great to a small handful and 50% of the time I’m given the wrong sauce on the side. Not to mention the supersauce recipe has changed and not in a good way. It’s not cheap either, so when the meal is ruined, it’s really frustrating that I’m just throwing away money. I know someone who knows the owner and swears by this place, so obviously you either need to know the owner or just get lucky to get properly cooked, hot food. I won’t be coming here again.

I ordered a bacon burger and some ketchup packets through DoorDash and did not get bacon on my burger or the ketchup. I also got extra pickles and reviewed 2 pickles. Food wasn’t bad but you could tell it wasn’t that fresh. Spent 19 bucks so I would expect to at least get bacon on the burger that I paid for.

I think the Cotati location is better. The fries and onion ring tasted like they were sitting out over an hour. Cold and stale tasting. They didn’t melt our cheese on the burger and forgot out ranch. Just laziness. Never had a bad meal from the Cotati location. They was the first time trying Petaluma and not good. Hoping they get it right next time

Their cheese (lava) fries are some of the best I’ve ever had! And they do not skimp on the cheese. Great customer service and tasty burger. The only reason I did 4 stars was because, although the burger is tasty, I didn’t quite find it amazing enough for the price. Solid choice though I’ll still be back. Glad we have one in Petaluma now!

The staff was awesome it was clean and the burger was delicious! The cold saw was great but it wasn’t very much! But the knuckle crunchers enough for two people and a puppy! One of the best burgers in Sonoma county. Very pleased that SuperBurger expanded into Petaluma. Prior this we had to go up to Cotati. The burgers here are the same as at any of their other stores. The only negative is the picnic tables they put inside are rough sawn and need to be sanded down and sealed. Also they didn’t have a soda fountain in as of yet, hopefully they’re planning to rectify that. Staff is friendly and courteous, food is outstanding.
