My wife and I managed to squeeze in the final minutes of one of their soft openings and we were not disappointed. The only options remain were the brisket and the sides. The brisket was some of the best we’ve ever eaten and the side items were just as good. I tried the potato salad and the green beans – both were exceptional!

Had my first experience at pepper and salt BBQ this evening. This is really a get it and go but there’s a few tables for you to eat there if you like. The employees were all very friendly and they know their meat. I’d go there before 3 because they sell out. My favorite was their brisket . Even the sides were superb, country style green beans cooked in a delicious broth. Potato salad homemade. New family favorite when I don’t want to cook. Prices we’re about half of what I would normally pay for a family of four. Win Win.

So many great reviews, we had to try this place. We were a bit disappointed. There were 3 of us for lunch. We each had something different. Brisket sliders, brisket topped baked potato, and brisket on top of Mac and Cheese. The potato was the best of the three and very good. The sliders were on one piece of bread under and three small bun tops on top. The bread was very marginal. The Mac and cheese was horrible. It had a sauce the consistency of water. I had a side of Mac and it too was like water. The sauce available was okay but very cold and it thus made the hot meat cold. The inside of the restaurant has no tables that sit more than 2 people and very few of those. Overall, not a comfortable place to have a nice lunch given the prices. Will give it another try and Order some different things to see if it is better the second time around.

Every single thing here is outstanding. We have tried every single meat. I’m not a turkey person but we ended up trying it because it was one of the only things still available. It’s freakin good! I love the fatty brisket. Their burgers are awesome. The baked beans with big chunks of brisket… omg. We try to go every Saturday and the owner, John, always treats us like we’ve known each other for 20 years. When they first opened, they had a line out the door and it was disappointing to get there and find out everything had already sold out. Now they post every time they sell out on their social media stories, they have another giant smoker, another pit master to help cut and serve meat, and offer online ordering. I love seeing this place grow. It’s my favorite place in Vero now and we look forward to having lunch here on Saturdays.

This place knocks it our do the park every time. This is the best bbq in town and their brisket is the best. We ask for it to be as lean as humanly possible and they always do a great job. Their seasoning and sauce are amazing. Their tots are good. My wife loves their potato salsa SM Cole slaw. I’m a fan of the spicy sauce. My wife likes the regular. Grab a sweet tea and you’re on your way.
