This Playa Bowls location is the most fresh, flavorful and consistent of the ones I’ve been to (Philly suburbs mostly). I want to know that if I order the same thing a few times in a row it’s going to taste the same (not the case at some places). The staff is friendly, too.

This stop is so inviting with a casual, coastal vibe. I was looking for a place to just grab lunch and go as it was 100° outside. I stopped in, asked a few questions and decided on the ahi tuna poke bowl. It was great choice. All of the ingredients were fresh and the sauce was very flavorful. They make the bowls right there on the side. Service was quick and they have a rewards program that allows you to build up reward money towards future purchases so I was able to get a few dollars off my lunch because we’ve stopped at the island heights location in the past. What I really liked about this location was the fact that they had savory food as well as frozen bowls.

Great Acai bowls, you have to be careful and keep a close eye on the display when they ring you up. I bought two fruit bowls for my daughters, the fruit bowls include three different fruit, my daughter is choosing her three choices out-loud and the cashier is hitting the $0.50 Add button each time… next thing you know the $7.00 fruit bowl is $8.50 for a bowl with only 3 fruit choices! I point it out and they remove the charge but it all comes down to who is on the register. This has happened at least 3 or 4 times during the past 3 months

Every bite I took was an expirence that took me out of the every day fast food lifestyle. I can come here for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desert. Not only is the food here delicious but healthly too, two of my family members are nutritionists and they vouch for everything on the menu. I was clueless about what the hype was all about but after two minutes the staff explained everything on the menu to me, what they can do to make my expirence even more pleasant, and took the time to make sure all my needs were met even tho the store was pretty busy. I was able to speak the to the store owners, they are two very approachable nice guys who love to know what your thoughts on the store are. I was very pleased with my visit and I urge everyone to give all the bowls a shot!

I have been buying at Playa Bowls since 2016. Love the different options and taste. Quality of service is high across all locations. For a nice healthy fix, enjoy an Electric Mermaid or Nica Bowl, my personal favorites.

I love playa bowls, however this is my first coming ya this particular location on Bay Ave. I was not satisfied with the service. A very nasty girl took my order, I really don’t know what was her issue but that’s no way to treat a customer. Perhaps it was the time I arrived (close to 8pm) that bothered her. Whatever it was, it’s very unprofessional to have a nasty attitude when a customer it’s giving you their money. I can go anywhere else to get a bowl of fruit. This was today at around 8pm on Bay ave, Toms River.

Very tasty bowls, fruit always ripe and granola crunchy. Wish these weren’t so pricey, i would eat them daily. Staff friendly. Parking lot kind of tight. Location is a little odd hidden on side street.
