Stopped here during lunch time on a Sunday. The restaurant was not overly busy with dine in orders. We were promptly seated and had menus quickly. Started out with cream cheese crab puffs which were really good and came out hot. From there we ordered the Shanghai pork dumplings and tamarind seafood hotpot. Both items were delicious. The dumplings were steamed well and had a great filling with sauce to pour over them. The tamarind seafood hotpot was not your traditional hotpot but was really great. It came put together already in a container but arrived hot with a little flame underneath to keep it hot. It had various types of seafood, fish, calamari and shrimp along with some veggies and a wonderful broth that had a nice sweet and very mild spicy flavor. Between splitting the appetizer, dumplings and hotpot we were full but not overly full. The larger dining room was really nicely set up, was a bit cold but tolerable with a sweater. Overall the food was really good, service was good and hoping to visit to try more soon!

Can only speak for the food (not the restaurant atmosphere or the staff) as we order delivery. By far my favorite Chinese food that I can get delivered. It is always consistent and flavorful. My favorite is the mushroom beef and my husband enjoys the dim sum. Fried rolls are great too. Overall it’s a bit on the pricier side and we always order too much, but nothing goes to waste as it’s delicious.

We ate some delicious food at Ginger Cafe. Orange chicken, chicken fried rice, chow mein and the vegetarian eggrolls were very good. The crab wrap appetizer was the only food we didn’t really like it. The waitress was extremely friendly but we could tell she was under stress having to take care of a lot of tables.

This is my go to restaurant in Gilroy to fuel shopping or travel. They have a nice lunch menu. I have had the curry and some other stir fry dishes. My one sensitivity is that the fried food is upsetting. It is like the food is in the oil too long and the oil flavor is strong.

A local spot in town that I unfortunately don’t go to enough. Went the other day and was reminded of how delicious their food was. They have a variety of dim sum and so many options for pork, poultry and noodles. Their Crispy Skin Chicken is always my go to, the flavor is extremely pleasant.

Potstickers were burnt, sweet-and-sour chicken was awful all breading almost no chicken, candy prawns were over cooked and then allowed to get soggy, just shake and steak was over cooked. Also very sad will not go back.

We were driving to Southern California and decided to stop by and get some food. Found ginger cafe in Gilroy. Really nice clean restaurant. Great service and perfect smoothing decoration. Waiters and waitresses were very nice and attentive. We order fish and duck, let me tell you I had tried duck before in a very fancy restaurant and I didn’t like but this time I decided to give a try more time. It was delicious really good flavor and cooked perfectly. My partner order fish and it was the whole fish very tasty and so much flavor. We loved This place and if you are in the Gilroy area make sure to stop by and try their food.
