Nice “old-school” diner. We tried both the bacon cheeseburger & club sandwiches. Both were generously sized & very tasty. One was sided with homemade fries, the other crickle fries. Both fry types are very good- the homemade fries are skin-on & about ¼ inch thick, while the crinkle-cut are the standard ⅜ inch fry. Well worth the trip.

This place was just amazing. I could talk about how awesome the food is or how nice everyone is or how cheap it is for the amount of food you get. But what really got me was just the flat out environment. To all my corn fed working folk out and about yall need to go try it. Was like breakfast at your grandma’s when you was a kid. (Also they keep that coffee flowing) Loved the place.

Penny Man’s Diner for breakfast this morning was great! The “bathroom sink” omelette was delicious, the biscuits were light and fluffy and the gravy was perfect. I’d highly recommend stopping in for breakfast if you can!!

Honestly, save your money, don’t go here. We were extremely displeased and overall disappointed. The place is run down and disgusting; there are literally pieces of ceiling peeling off. The food is not great, honestly the worst grits I’ve ever had, and I think it’s due to the water. I got a glass of water and was extremely metallic and terrible taste. That has me concerned for everything they cook and explains the terrible taste of grits. The bacon was majorly overdone, like turns to ash on consumption, and biscuits on the verge of being burnt. This may be due to the fact the cook was chit chatting with some random person who walked in the back for an hour. The other staff were okay a best the lady who checked us out just seemed annoyed at our existance and they were complaining they haven’t been able to find the cook for over 20 minutes and had a line of tickets waiting. So, to conclude, the place needs some love and repairs. The water/pipes need to be checked asap, and the staff may need some retraining or replacement.
