NOPE….The biscuit board is the best thing going! In the pics, we subbed turkey bacon and turkey sausage. Everything else was definitely a NO GO. I am hoping the kitchen was just having a bad day….My spinach and mushroom omlete was greasy and bland. The chicken with the chicken and waffles was super dry, and the waffle was not thoroughly cooked. My hot coffee was served at room temp. My tweens can cook better than what we were served. The music did not match the decor and atmosphere. That is $50 that I could have kept.

Darling little place. We had breakfast and it was delicious. We both had the Rose and Shine. Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash brown casserole, grits and a honey biscuit. A very large amount of food. Quite tasty. Service was excellent. Our server was a delight. My husband ask for butter. It took a minute for him to bring it but the reason why was that he heated it under the lamps so it was cold. Up and beyond. Great job! We will come back our next time in Memphis.

Was greeted when we came in. Was told it would be about a 30 minute wait but it ended up being about 5 minutes. Our server was nice but she didn’t come by often. Had to go search for our own silverware. Had to ask a few times for refills on water. But other than that, it was a good experience. Ordered and food came out pretty fast. Everything was hot and freshly made. Definitely will be back and hopefully the service will be better.

Friendly staff and nice place. But the wait for food is inexcusable. 20 minutes for breakfast with a grand total of 9 people in the restaurant. But the worst part was the so-called “gravy.” White water would be more descriptive. Tasteless, runny and an embarrassment. Think I’ll find another choice when I come back to Memphis next month.

The wait was so long, I will not be returning. First time here from out of town and it not a pleasant place to eat. After waiting 45 mins, some of the food had to get sent back because it was cold. The GM came out looking like a dishwasher, had no idea she was a GM while talking to us until she stared it.only thing I enjoyed was the sausages.

Ordered a chicken and waffles and can say that this was problem the worst chicken and waffles I’ve had. Small portion for the price, tasteless, and the chicken was extremely dry to the point that it was barely edible. I didn’t finish my food.

They left us standing there what seemed like forever before acknowledging and seating us. Service was slow, food mediocre and everything was very salty. The grits bowls are impossible to eat, you can’t cut meat or eggs floating on top of a bowl of grits and not inexpensive either. Atmosphere is dark, not very breakfast friendly.

Food was delicious, our waitress Rachael was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. This was our first time eating here and she was very patient with us. Only thing I didn’t like was they add 20% gratuity on the check no questions asked.

The biscuits were greasy and too tough to eat. The “famous chocolate gravy” was nothing more than Hersheys chocolate syrup. This was $50 wasted in 2 people to eat breakfast. I do not recommend. Save your money and eat the hotels free continental breakfast you will come out ahead and at least have edible food.

The restaurant was clean with nice decor. The service was prompt and polite but not especially warm. The food was tasty.
