If you enjoy a good old fashioned down home breakfast. Then this is the place to visit. The majority of the tables are private but there is one section that is communal. Me and my wife enjoyed talking to a delightful couple as we dined. The prices are reasonable and the portions are nice. Anytime we visit from New Jersey. We make it a point to stop by. You should do the same.

The food and service were excellent. We did have to add a little salt to our food which we hardly ever do but that other than that it was nicely seasoned. The only suggestion I have is maybe not to use that plastic spread on the tables for the toast and such and maybe upgrade to butter

Great place to come by and get some breakfast or lunch. You can seat yourself and the food comes out pretty quick. Service was professional and nice. I’d come back again. The only thing mostly wrong is the seating is kinda close to other tables and you have to pay with cash. Not sure of the cash only is an everyday thing or not.

Always a great meal and a wonderful local dining experience. The great name has always made me smile as well. My husband and I enjoy going here for breakfast after church on Sunday and he often goes with buddies for breakfast, schedules permitting.

Yuck. Used to LOVE this place. Actually feeling like I might toss my cookies. Never got served meatloaf in a crumbled up pile of grease and gravy before. Have now. Twice bit into something hard and crunchy within the pile… the tea used to be wonderful. Now it tastes like bitter pre-made yuck. The collards were ok but not more than. I used to love eating here but I guess I need to find somewhere new. Sad.

My favorite breakfast spot on the East Coast. They have the most wonderful country link sausage I have ever tasted. Their gravy is also delicious and don’t let me get started on those great home fries. Great staff friendly service endless coffee. Worth the trip from anywhere

Typical small average restaurant. Good service and quick preparation of food. Home fries looked good. I ordered hash browns and they quickly replaced the home fries. I had a ham and cheese omelot. It was average. They used sliced American cheese. Would prefer cheddar cheese. Actually would’ve rather had spinach and mushroom omelot, but they didn’t offer a lot of choices. Prices okay.

Great Dinner food in a cozy atmosphere. Servers are extremely attentative, my coffee was never a drop empty! Affordable meals and coffee and tea are included with the meal! I had the 2 Eggs, hash browns and sausage and it was great. The biscuits and S.O.S Gravy are absolutely a reason to come here by themselves.
