Delicious sweet and sour chicken lunch combo. The chicken pieces are big and taste good. Comes with a shrimp egg roll and I ordered crab Rangoon separately.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant outside of Asiatown. Excellent (yeah, Americanized) Chinese food. The staff is very nice, food is hot, fresh, and fast.

Stopped in with my hubby for a quick bite. We started with the pot stickers which were pretty good. He got the sesame chicken combo plate and I got a dish that had steak, shrimp, and pork with mixed veggies and fried rice. The food was good, only downside is that the steak was basically raw they took it back to the kitchen and cooked it a bit longer and it was pretty good. All in all decent place for Chinese.

Very clean place! Nice inviting hostess/waitress. Engaging owner. Crab Rangoon was the best we’ve had. Great portion size and tasty meals! Possibly our new favorite sit down Chinese restaurant! Give them a try!

Pretty tasty food. The egg drop was good. The Mongolian beef medium heat was good. The ribs were too sweet for me. The whole dinner was very good yet not fantastic either. I would order something again. I will try another dish and let you know. The service was very good.

Wah Fu was a pleasant surprise. In the Middlebury plaza, next to Bagley grill, this little gem is just that; a find.

Not the same as it used to be. Food was good but it used to be better. The homemade duck sauce that was on the table is gone, replaced by cheap packets of high fructose corn syrup sauce. That was one of my favorite things about that place. I guess they changed owners. Still decent for the price, but I won’t be going out of my way for it any longer. The guy/cook did come out of the kitchen to check in on us. Very kind, and thoughtful.

This ”new owner” has destroyed the Wah Fu name. The food is horrible. We thought we’d give it another chance after going here for 30 years or so when it was owned by the 1st owner. It isn’t what it used to be for people who wonder why. . Tonight I found a plastic wrapper in my egg fu young. I asked the waitress if I could see the manager and he refused to come out of the kitchen. The rice was tasteless and dry and neither I nor my friend could eat it. When the bill came I once again asked for the owner/manager but he refused to come out so I walked out the door. That’s gutless and I will never walk in there again. Feel so bad for the waitress and I did tip her. I’ve known her for literally 20 years but sadly I will never see her again. Another woman in there tonight also complained about the rice all while the owner/manager hides in the kitchen.

Been driving past Wah Fu’s for years, so I finally decided to stop and try it. I have mixed feelings about it. I ordered the Chicken with Broccoli dinner combination to go – there were lots of other vegetables in it which was not expected, and it was made in a white sauce which was also not expected. The listing under “combinations” didn’t mention other vegetables, but I checked the detailed menu at home and the listing on a different page under Poultry Dishes did. Luckily none of them were peppers or I would have had to drive back and return it (I’m allergic to peppers). The chicken was ok, the white sauce was actually good, the broccoli was very mushy but tasted ok, the snow peas were so mushy they were unpleasant to eat so I just threw them away (and there were alot of them – more than the broccoli), the baby corn was good, and the water chestnuts were good. I liked the fried rice and the egg roll. But the dinner didn’t seem to be Wok cooked like other Chinese takeout, my order came so fast and was so hot that it seems like it was microwaved (except for the rice and eggroll). I’m not sure if I will stop here again but if I do I will have to be very careful to ask about ingredients.
