The owner runs the place and is very attentive to the food & its quality. We have visited this place 3 times already and everything we tried we loved. Once you overlook the bland small atmosphere, the food is really delicious & freshly made. The chicken drumsticks are perfectly grilled & seasoned, the hummus with beef was great, the shawarma fries is generous & tasty, the mixed grill platter is a winner – everything was delicious. Please ask for gloves if you truly want to enjoy the drumsticks.

Wow! Barbar is the best tasting Lebanese cuisine I’ve had outside of Lebanon. I grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, largest Arab population in America, I would pick Barbar over any restaurant there. The food was good. The grilled chicken was lacking salt and in my opinion, there was no need for the sauce covering it. But since it was covered in the sauce I was waiting for a spicy kick which I didn’t find. But again, I wanted to taste authentic charcoal grilled chicken, not a saucy one. The hummus tasted good. Like homemade. Pita bread was a bit dry, needed to be fresh. The staff are nice but they keep staring a lot which made us very uncomfortable while eating.

Wings with their in house orange sauce is spot on and tasted really good. We tried chicken tawook w/rice, chicken was juicy and spiced well. The shawarma was saucy and fries were crispy. The reason for the 4star is the burger. We didn’t like the burger, the patty was well done, tasted mediocre, the coleslaw was making the burger sweet. Really like the overall fusion concept of this restaurant but they really need to work on their burgers.

Food is good- it is supposed to be Mediterranean restaurant the people who are working have no clue what they are doing( obviously they don’t know the Arab food and the get confused of the order’s names ) plus، they don’t know how to deal with customers. The place is under construction so maybe that’s why they are like this., We also had a big order. Only one plate came to us with a bitten falafel piece underneath our liver sandwich!!! Otherwise everything was edible!
