OMGEEE this is a must go to place. We stayed in town a few days for a fishing tournament and ate here for dinner. Margarita was really good.

The wait staff was great, the food was nasty, the beans were so salty that you couldn’t taste the rest of the food, the Carne asada came out and if there were two ounces of hard , burnt , chewey, flavorless meat I would be surprised, the salsa wasn’t salsa, it was over spiced enchilada sauce! And what authentic Mexican restaurant doesn’t have queso?? We used to eat here but probably never again the food is nasty, did someone buy thus place because food quality has gone way down hill. The food ruined our date night it was such a downer.

Ate here because it was within walking distance of our hotel… luckily where i live the Mexican food at its worst is still better than the Taco Bell next to this place. Unfortunately we chose this restaurant over the diarrhea inducing Taco Bell. First off: no queso!? WTH. Ok fine. Started eating the chips and “salsa”/enchilada sauce.. stale chips. Ok fine. Giant black hair on the bottom of another chip? Ok fine. Ordered a cheese quesadilla, a chicken burrito with rice and beans, and a chicken chimichanga. When did a Mexican restaurant start using canned chicken?!! Thrown off by the texture. Almost as if they have become too lazy to actually cook? Margarita wasn’t bad honestly. For the price they charge for the junk they serve I’m completely blown away. Maybe it’s people like us that are just there for a night and want somewhere easy to walk to? No one was there when we showed up. I get why. Anyone local would steer clear from this place. Anyone who has ever had good Mexican food, or even Taco Bell, would be disappointed by the quality of food coming out of their kitchen. Staff was very friendly on the plus side. Tips for staff and chef: 1. Wear a hairnet. Hair on the chips you serve for an appetizer arent a way to appetizer. 2. If you use canned chicken drain it. Dress it up so it doesn’t look like tuna out of a can. Or give customers what they pay for and cook the real thing and shred it! 3. Queso dip! 4. If you keep the process the way it is lower your prices or get food from Taco Bell to serve to your customers. Im harsh but I’m honest. Honestly the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. It did give me a memory that I won’t forget. At least I came away with something

Another great road trip stop. Kind staff and great food. Flavorful fajitas, yummy spicy salsa, and the deep fried ice cream was different but very good.

You know we weren’t expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. Both were great all the way around. My Carne Asada covered burrito was excellent, right up there with the best I have had. My two daughters were both very impressed with their dishes as well as my four very picky Grandsons. So yes don’t let some of these other reviewers fool you. Give them a try. We did and will come back down again all the way from Denver.
