Ordered the Uncle Mutt’s Plate (3 meat) with fried okra & cole slaw and a side of fried sweet corn. The lean brisket was not dry nor to greasy, the ribs slipped of the bone like a hot knife through butter & the sausage was tasty as well. The fried okra was great as was the cole slaw. The Fried Sweet Corn was spot one of the best I have ever had. Worth the trip & definitely worth the price. This plate will serve two people easily Will promote it & will definitely return.

Fantastic little BBQ joint. The food was all perfect. The brisket not too dry and seasoned well. The chopped beef was great, as was the sausage. Couldn’t tell you about the ribs, as my wife and son refused to share because they loved them so much! The sides were all good. The atmosphere was really charming too. Fair price for this quality of BBQ. Almost stopped by on our way out of town to pick some more up to take home, and found out I have several coworkers who do just that every time they’re in Victoria. 10/10 would recommend this as your weekend lunch stop!

The bbq is good. I had the two meat sausage and brisket. Brisket was very tender. The employees were very friendly and helpful! I do not like that they play political stations on the tv, but that is the owners choice…

I had my dinner at this place when I had to make my delivery at Walgreens that’s across the street. I was greeted professionally with respect. They asked me where I’m from because they heard foreign accent, and I said that I’m from Poland. They told me that they never had any one from Poland before at their restaurant. They really serve good local food. I strongly recommend this place and if you tell them that you came from different country they’ll give you little extra food at no extra cost.

Very good BBQ! The brisket, bake potatoes, the ribs…all is just delicious! Very casual place. When dining in it’s a cafeteria style serving, pick and choose what you want, pay then get your drink and fixings! Staff always very friendly. My family go all the time we need a BBQ fix!

I’m writing this review as I’m eating. This is the best brisket I have ever eaten in my life. We were passing through and decided to get something to eat, and I am so glad we stopped here. The rice is sooooo good. Spent $40 and my husband, son and I ate very well.

Paid over $100 for brisket and sausage and was charged $3 for pickles and onions. Potato salad is disgusting. Brisket flavorless. Sausage ok. $14 for a qt of green beans is ROBBERY. Will never be back.
