Delicious sushi! Good prices. Lots to pick from – we enjoyed a bit of everything from the sushi menu. They have a few tempura rolls, a few naruto rolls (cucumber wrapped, no rice), and a whole 2 pages for regular and special rolls. I enjoyed everything my table tried. Lots of variety to find something for you!

My favorite place to have lunch. They make thee best shrimp ever. Fried rice – thee best. BEST. I usually get a larger bento box and it has so many options within it. My fave !!

My family are a regular customer of this restaurant since I can remember. We even had our daughter’s high school graduation party, lunch. Our family and friends loved the food and the service and they become regular customers as well. Small but cozy place.

Really nice sushi place. The rolls are delicious and pretty well priced, especially for lunch! 2 rolls for $8 is really nice! The service is really fast and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good sushi at a good price!

It is a friendly family business. We ordered hibachi, tom yum soup, and agedashi tofu. The hibachi was okay but a bit greasy. The agedashi tofu was very greasy. The tom yum soup used celery and carrots instead of the expected ingredients (i.e. no galangal, lemongrass, or lime leaves were detected). Thankfully, the soup was not greasy. Overall, though, most of the food tasted like greasy Chinese food (with some MSG and without douchi or shitake), and I would give it fewer stars, but it was a good amount for the price, and still edible after rubbing some grease away. I suspect the sushi is better but don’t like raw fish. It came within 10 minutes despite other patrons being there, including pickup orders. I wouldn’t return here, mostly because we almost ran someone over while driving there, who suddenly exited his car while he was driving in the middle of the street, and the food was not my type.

This sushi place was surprisingly convenient, my friend ran out of gas in his motorcycle because he misjudged the gas light. so, as a spectacular friend i pulled out my google and pulled up the nearest gas station and sushi restaurant. IN OUR FAVOR, in 0.3 miles our beloved sushi-kuu was delicious, scrumptious and fairly priced. the only con that i experienced was the air vent right over my head was BLASTING, my timbers were SHIVERING, SO i recommend bringing a sweatshirt along with you. OVERALL 4/5 MY SUSHI LOVING FRIENDS. love, you’re favorite food critic.

As a native of Lake Hiawatha, I am very happy to have a high quality sushi restaurant. The food is great! The fish is fresh, the staff is kind, sometimes a little awkward, but that is common in most restaurants with a foreign selection. Their bento box is great! It’s better to dine in with the bento box, as you get more for your money. The takeout version of bento, I felt, I didn’t get as much.

Cute place with nice decor. Service was great. We arrived at 5:00 and were the only guests. We ordered chicken tempura, eggplant with miso sauce, crabmeat ravioli small plates and a salmon avocado roll. All were excellent.

Lived in Lake Hiawatha for a decade but dined here for the first time the other evening with my girlfriend. Interior was clean and we didn’t notice anything that warranted criticism. Waitstaff was OK, but not particularly friendly and a little slow. We ordered three specialty rolls, soup and shared a salad. The rolls were artfully made, the fish was fresh and the soup and salad were good. Although, as my girlfriend and I discussed, the miso soup tasted the same as any sushi restaurant we’ve ever patronized.
