Our Restaurant & Story:
We love Thai food…and wanted to create something to make it even more special, so we use the natural blue coloring from the Anchan Flower to add a new dimension to the cuisine.
Not only are the blue and purple hue’s beautiful, but they are full of the antioxidant Anthocyanin and high levels of Ternatins! Good for the eyes and fighting cancer!
There are many other surprising health benefits of this Beautiful flower as well.
But we mostly love it because it is pretty!

Not only is this location a hidden gem, but one of the best Thai food I have ever had. Apple, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly! Every dish we had was a delight. The vegetables were fresh and had a delicious crunch, the seafood was refreshing, the meat was tender, and the dessert was so unique! I cannot wait to dine here again.

We accidentally happened upon this great new Thai restaurant in Bala-Cynwyd, and halfway through the meal they let us know that we were their very first customers! Flavors are delicious. The vegetables are very fresh and the staff could not be nicer. Pleasant atmosphere, and they’re very accommodating. Will definitely come back!

I ordered takeout with a number of requests to change my other to accommodate vegetarians. The restaurant was wonderful in accommodating our requests. Good was tasty. We ordered green and masaman curry. A salad. Each dish was tasty leaving us wanting more next time.

Hooray! This is the best Thai Food we’ve had on the Main Line (trumps Narberth and Wynnewood offerings). We tried the Thai Eggplant with tofu and veg and Drunken Noodles as takeout and both were delicious and beautifully presented. The team there was very friendly. I’m sure we’ll be back to dine there and try more takeout in the future. Bala Avenue needs more energy and we’re glad that Anchan Thai is now in the neighborhood!
