The folks that run this place are really nice, and the food tastes very authentic. The Japanese curry had that distinctive flavor you look for that sets it apart from other curries. The sashimi was fresh, clean and well presented. We went for lunch and it was nice, quiet, and fairly quick to get food in front of us… From starters to entrees things came at a nice interval. Well done, we’ll go back. There’s a sign for lease in front window, they are still in business until next year, she said landlord hung the sign which makes it look like they’re gone, but they’re still going to be around for a while.

I come here every week. If you care or know about the traditions and origins of sushi and Japanese quisine. This place is tops, it won’t dissapoint. Order from the menu, ( I recommend the woodlands rolls, and the weekly specials), or sit at the bar and relax while Chef prepares something uniquely you. Always the freshest and highest quality fish. I know many regular patrons who dine here, because the authenticity and quality are unrivaled in the area.

Love the sushi here – fresh, beautiful, and flavorful! When my wife and I think of going out for sushi this is our first choice in The Woodlands. While there are a handful of good places to get sushi in The Woodlands we seem to always gravitate to Masa Sushi. The food is great and the staff have been great too!

Masa sushi serves the best quality sushi in the Woodlands by far! He really does a great job and picking the highest quality fish available. We have been going there for years and it is our families favorite place to dine. He is always super friendly and goes out of his way to make things very special.

Cozy atmosphere, good service and delicious food. Always a treat. Rings authentic, reminds me of eating out in Japan. You might miss it in the Panther Creek strip (no prominent signage or advertising), but it is a great place… for dessert try their red bean or green tea flavored ice cream (imported from Japan).

My wife and go to Masa’s once or twice a month and have for years. We love it. We usually get tempura (shrimp is my favorite), it is excellent, as is the salad, Miso soup and the vegetables. But, the prize is the sushi, which is outstanding. Our favorite is the tuna or optional fatty tuna. The Salmon is also excellent. Highly recommended. I’ve not found a Japanese restaurant that is better in Houston. Eat the rice, they really know how to prepare rice.

We went here for dinner on Friday (7-1-16). My son loves Japanese food so we took him for his birthday. Though not busy our waiter took forever to get us anything. We had 2 appetizers for meals and they came out before anyone else’s meals- and not just a couple minutes. Then came the kids meal and finally after nearly everyone was done or the food was cold from waiting to eat together the other food arrived. It was a horrible experience and for the price we coyld have went else where which we will next time.
