Welcome to Asian Express! I am the owner from 2020 to rebuild this restaurant. We have focused on delicious Chinese food and localized Shanghai food. Since coming from Shanghai, we will keep working on exploring Chinese food. We have already heard back some comments and suggestions, which helps us contribute a better restaurant. We came here on a regular Monday afternoon. Initially we saw the menu on Yelp and we saw some authentic recipes on the menu. But the English name of the restaurant on Apple Map seems to be a normal American Chinese restaurant.

Christmas day and this place was the miracle of the season. Food was great with lots of great options and consistent quality across several plates (apps, entrees, side orders). Tasty noodles in broth and delightful fried food were my favorites. The egg roll filling was not what I expected, but everything else came in at or above expectations.

This is definitely one of most authentic Chinese restaurants in Columbus. I was fooled by the Asian Express name and thought it was American Chinese food. The fact is they speak very little English and didn’t add the Chinese name to it.

Ordered pad Thai and Crab Rangoon. Pad Thai was noodles and chicken with almost nothing else. Crab Rangoon is only cheese. Nice people but would not recommend due to the quality of meals.
