The salad was packed with flavor, including mango slices and chili-lime dressing. The Publican Salad was on the Daily Specials menu. My husband had the Publican Burger (also specials), which might have been the most flavorful burger I’ve ever had. I did not take a photo of it sooner because I had not decided to steal a bit until he was almost done.

Last year, I was recommended this establishment by a colleague, and it quickly became one of my favorite places to dine. However, my recent experience has left me with mixed feelings. Last night, my husband and I decided to stop by after an event on the beach, arriving at approximately 8:36 pm. Upon entering the restaurant, we inquired with the hostess about sitting at the bar, to which she granted permission.

Went there on on spec and was very agreeably surprised at the menu. Basically a long bar with some separate high tables around the perimeter with great bar and kitchen staff manning them. The food was above average for a pub-style establishment and a great selection of beer, wine and hard liquor. Eddie the bartender really knew his trade and our selection of appetizers (pierogies) and entrees (fish tacos and fish and chips) were above average. Kudos to all and we will be back!

Very friendly staff, place was cool and inviting after a few hours on the beach..we got the pulled pork and crabcake sandwich. Crabcake had alot of filler, but good…coleslaw was real-tasting coleslaw, French fries were plenty and my son polished off that pulled pork! Good place for a laid back lunch! Love the serving tray for each entree..

Five out of five, but if I could give it a ten out of ten, I would. I have been to this restaurant only twice but have fallen in love with the food and the atmosphere both times. My server, Ms. Robyn- I don’t think I spelled her name right so please pardon me- was the same server I had both times and provided me and my friends with excellent service. I will always try to have her as my server, if possible. The picture that you see, was my entree of the night, and it was incredible how delicious it was. The chefs and cooks in the kitchen clearly put so much pride and dedication into their dishes and love their job dearly. Thank you so much for the great food and well done. Happy New Years from a satisfied customer and best of luck in 2023 with the business.

We’ve ordered 3 entrees. The Publican burger is moist, cooked to perfection and tasty. Chicken cutlet is very good, tender and good flavor. The steak and duck dashi is very well made noodle soup/meal, the steak and duck combination is very mouth watering entree. Our server is very attentive and gave us an excellent service

Extremely friendly staff, and very fast (but unrushed) service even during peak hours on a weekend. I’m docking a star because the food, while certainly not bad in any regard, just doesn’t warrant a perfect rating across the wide variety of selections we ordered. I would say you won’t leave disappointed at all, but it won’t be the highlight of your visit either.
